So convenient if you don't want to drive there is a lot to do right in and by the hotel.

Location was good. Food was good. Close to things we wanted to do My room was cleaned very late I had to sit in the lobby until it was done
-
The room was exceptionally cleaned. I liked that you need to use your room key card to use the elevator to get to your room. Breakfast is extra. I only wish there was more directions to use “the link” to get to union station.

The staff was so very friendly and accommodating. They were helpful in an above and beyond way.

I feel the hotel was overpriced and getting a little dated. The hot tub was a joke and the pool could have been cleaner.

Locked out of our room more than in it. Had to prop door open with water bottle since they wouldn't fix it. Got locked out at pool had to have maintenance let us back in. Locked in parking garage with multiple vehicles until staff helped. Waste of money and ruined our whole trip late to all the events we had tickets to!!! Over 20 videos of us waiting and being locked out!!!!!!!

I wanted to share my disappointment with our recent stay at your hotel. We rarely have the opportunity to spend this kind of money on a hotel room, so we were really looking forward to a special experience. Unfortunately, our stay fell far short of our expectations. The problems started at check-in. I had my Expedia confirmation ready, as anyone would, but the front desk employee was rude and repeatedly told me that they don't use that confirmation number. Rather than helping us, I felt like I was being treated as though I had done something wrong. When we got to our room, we found that the bed had holes in the sheets. I later went to take a shower and discovered the body wash dispenser was empty. That immediately made me wonder what else may have been overlooked during cleaning if something so basic wasn't checked. We also wanted to enjoy the pool with our kids, but the pool area was disappointing as well. The entrance was covered with leaves and debris, much of which had blown into the pool. There were no clean swim towels available—only a large pile of what appeared to be used towels sitting on a chair. We waited specifically so we could use the hot tub, only to find that it wasn't hot at all. In fact, it was colder than the pool. Several other families were talking about the same issue, so we know we weren't the only ones who noticed. For the amount we paid, this experience was incredibly disappointing. We never get to spend that much how sad

The room was very well maintained and a very good size. The beds were great, and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do in Kansas City. We always have enjoyed Crown Center and it has lots of places to eat and things to see.

I am 80 years old and the hoops to get thru to park my car made me feel like a dumb old lady. I ended up going to the front desk to get my cars signed in. When i was checking out I had to argue with the gal to get my car checked out without downloading your app. Not everyone is young and adapt at a web sites. I like to talk to a person.

I honestly was expecting more. It was a little dingy and the elevator from the garage to the hotel kept on just stalling and didnt want to work. The A/C kept blowing so much dust I was having terrible allergies.
-
The pool was dirty (always covered in a layer of leaves and dirt). And the whirlpool seemed to shoot cold water out of the jets. We inquired about it with an employee who told us that it was always like that. Seems odd… The biggest issue we had involved the “emergency alarm” which was triggered at 3am our first night. It rang for around 2 minutes straight (we had time to dress and get ready to run), the notification said it would give us instructions and then no one ever said anything. We called the front desk and no one answered, so I called security and thankfully they told us it was a false alarm. That felt poorly handled.
-
No bellhop or valet greeted us like in the past. No one helped us with our luggage. Biggest issue was the pool. There was brown algae on the steps, walls, and bottom of the pool. The pool area, which has been great in the past, needs major attention.

$30 for overnight parking isn’t the best for big trucks, be prepared to pay for wifi and 50$ for late check out which we were given only an extra 2 hours which is understandable for cleaning staff. Probably first and last time probably staying. Clean, staff were friendly and the bottom floor is really nice.
