Kinda quiet place Generally all facilities are too old, The children’s playground injured my daughter’s hand, which was very disappointing. On top of that, some children who said they were the owner’s kids bullied my daughter during our stay.

I chose Holiday Inn Karon Phuket mainly for the location, and it didn’t disappoint. Right in the heart of Karon but still quiet enough to relax. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made check-in effortless. I stayed in one of the villas and wow — the layout is brilliant. Super spacious, open-plan living + bedroom area, big bathroom, and your own little outdoor space. Didn’t feel cramped at all. You get that “home away from home” vibe instead of a standard hotel room. What really stood out though was cleanliness. Everything was spotless — floors, bathroom, even little details you don’t expect. And the staff go beyond just cleaning. They actually check in to make sure you have what you need so you can just enjoy your stay without stress. I walked around and checked out a few other hotels in Karon while I was here, and I have to say Holiday Inn has the best staff by far. Friendly faces everywhere, always greeting you, always willing to assist. That kind of service makes all the difference. Already planning to come back. Highly recommend if you want comfort, space, and people who actually care. None.

Staff was nice. Facility is not in good REPAIR. It needs alot.of work. The POOLS WERE GROSS. They were a brown color and we did not swim the 4 days we were there afraid of getting sick. All restaurants are open air NO A/C and this Thailand 85 at 8am.

the location was great, everything essential is within 15 mins of walking maximum. staff is very polite, breakfast menu was good as well. staff was very friendly and nice, they gave me a free upgrade for no reason. my room had a pool which was simply fantastic. only thing is the wifi never worked in my room throughout my stay but they said they will fix the issue soon when i was leaving so it will hopefully be better for others.

I had such a lovely stay at Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Karon Beach. From the moment I arrived, the hotel manager and the entire staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. It didn’t feel like a typical hotel experience, it felt warm and personal. Every small request I had was genuinely taken care of, and that really stood out to me. The team was always attentive, smiling, and ready to help, which made the whole stay feel effortless. As a solo female traveler, feeling safe matters a lot, and I can honestly say I felt completely comfortable here. That sense of safety, along with how respectfully and thoughtfully I was treated, made a big difference. They were also very accommodating of my preferences, which I truly appreciated. It’s rare to find a place that pays attention in such a sincere way. I actually ended up extending my stay because I felt so at home here. A big thank you to the manager and the entire team for making this such a memorable experience. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy. The staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great selection that truly enhances the overall experience.

Since the hotel was not fully occupied by the time of our arrival, we got promoted to a better room with small pool at the terrace. Especially my 9 years old daughter enjoyed that. She also very much liked the slide at lids swimming pool and the surf at the mail pool. Necessity to cross the road when going towards beach. At least some crossing for pedestrian would help and some slow-down bumpers to slow cars in that area.

Low cost, manager was nice and tried to help Low maintenance, smell in the room, breakfast area wasn’t pleasant because of low cleaning and maintain during the breakfast. The location is very bad, very far from beach or main area and to walk is not easy because of no sidewalk or safe path.

They have more then one pool. During our 9-night stay, housekeeping timing was inconsistent and unpredictable; every day the room was serviced at a different time, with no clear schedule communicated. Breakfast became repetitive after several days due to very limited food rotation. There were no pork options such as bacon or sausage, and after more than a week it was difficult to know what to eat as the selection rarely changed. One day before checkout, our room key suddenly stopped working. We had to return to the front office, where we were told that our checkout date had been entered incorrectly in the system. On another occasion, a housekeeper entered our room without knocking and insisted it was our checkout day, claiming there were no guests in-house. There was also a day when the water supply stopped without prior notice. Only after contacting the front desk were we informed that cold water pipes were being replaced. Overall, these repeated operational issues significantly impacted our stay. I chose Holiday Inn because of its strong brand reputation, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. I work in the luxury hotel industry as part of an executive team, and experiencing so many basic service failures within 10 days is simply too much.

The location was great for us. Not far from Patong at all and Karon had a lot going on, within walking distance of hotel The rooms could be serviced alot more! There was visible mold, the room ALWAYS felt damped! The air unit would blow hot and cold randomly. Cleanly came and didn't clean. The groundskeeping was very consistent but the rooms could be a lot better! Also, most of the outlets in the room didn't work

Location good in Karon area not to busy by tourist and not to far from beach . Staff very helpful .3 swimming pool were good Noisy from road and hot water not stable

There was a very strong urine smell coming from the bathroom throughout my entire stay. The hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating—it’s more like a 3-star at best and is definitely overrated.

My time here was calm and great staff. I enjoyed every minute here and I would come back!

The staff was amazing! If I needed assistance or anything at all, the staff went above and beyond!

Hot water at bathroom was dirty and colored as it is rusted
