Highly recommend for the family

Staff were lovely & friendly. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The waterslides are good. The hotel is a bit dated, There are areas that need attention especially around the pool area.

Nothing My stay at Orchid was extremely disappointing due to the on-site tourism desk near reception (blue shirt staff). After being scammed by an external agency (Nice N Easy) across the street, the hotel representative(Chantana) advised me to only book through their desk, claiming it was safer and that the hotel would support us if anything went wrong. Trusting this, I rebooked the same trip for 8600 baht (almost double the 4400 baht I originally paid). However, the experience was misleading: We were greeted and checked in by Alex at the site, instead of informing us during check in that all activities were cancelled, she boarded us on the boat, took us to the beach then informed us that our plans have drastically been changed. My package included 2 activities and 2 snorkeling sites, but we only received 1 snorkeling site and limited alternatives We were told all water activities were canceled due to weather, despite this being known all month The replacements swing, or massage) were not suitable, especially as I was traveling with children Instead of proper compensation, we were offered 450 baht drinks for activities worth ~2000 baht+ Even worse, I later saw other guests doing water activities. When I requested a fair price adjustment based on what we actually received, the agency refused, claiming I “accepted” the drinks instead. The hotel manager’s response was simply that I could call the police. This felt like being passed from one scam to another. ⚠️ Be very cautious — booking through the hotel tour desk does NOT guarantee legitimacy or support, do not choose any premium packages, and ask them to call the beach to cover the :weather and tides as they are all aware of the conditions before you arrive to the site. Shame on chantana and the Phuket Orchid staff and SHame on Alex from the banana beach and their deceitful tactics

Great location very close to the beach! Beautiful pool and bars. Much better experience than if we stayed in Patong which was not very family friendly.

Staff was very nice and hospitable

Everything was perfect, from the pool and slides to the comfortable and clean room. Buffet, staff and location were amazing! We loved our stay! Nothing to say!

• There are three different kinds of pools, which is great for families and kids. • The plenty of slides kept the kids entertained for hours—they didn’t want to leave the pool. • Cleanliness: Housekeeping was very poor. My bed sheets were never changed until I stayed in the room whilst they're cleaning it to make sure they change the bed sheets, and the coffee cups were not properly cleaned—just rinsed with water and then left in the bathroom. This felt unhygienic and unprofessional. • Room condition: The room had a constant unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. • Service: When I asked for an iron, I was told to go and iron my clothes in the reception area instead of being provided one in my room. That’s far below what you’d expect from a supposed 4-star resort. • Breakfast: Very poor quality with very limited options. It didn’t feel like a resort-level breakfast at all.

Room was a bit smelly especially when we left the room for few hours. Smell of room.

We liked the location , very close to the beach and vendors. The water slides were also fun and we also enjoyed the onsite massage. Breakfast Buffett was also decent.

Hotel busy All the time and much noisy The swiming pool full and not feel comfortablr with staying Becz of the traffic at the Hotel

So we got a room at ground floor so access to the pool area was easier for kids specially. More trained staffs at pool will be much appreciated. Big advice to Hotel Mgt, for 1st timers please arrange a hotel tour, other wise guests wont even know what amenities the hotel is offering. It's a big resort. Room service is not up to the mark. Staffs were good but no english plus under staff. Food is something the Hotel Mgt really needs to work on, either free buffet breakfast or room order .... taste is not good.

Public bathrooms we're not so clean. The kids club was bare minimum

My family and I enjoyed this resort to the fullest. We were very happy with the location, and the staff was amazing. Huge shout out to the check in/out staff, they were so understanding and friendly. Overall a great resort, with a great pool/amenities and great staff.
