The hotel offers a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere while beings conveniently close to Thamel and other major attractions. The room were clen spacious, and well maintained, making our stay very relaxing.

I went Nepal as a solo traveller, and I was searching for a peaceful place to stay and I booked this hotel. It was really at a peaceful location very near from the main center (Thamel) and the tourist bus station is like 2 minutes away from the hotel. There is a supermarket near the hotel. All the staff are friendly, and responsive. The food I tasted there was good and tasty. Laxman, the owner there also had a trekking company from where I booked a short trekking. I highly recommend the hotel to all the travellers traveling to Kathmandu.

The property is located near the Thamel area and it’s very easy to walk to many restaurants and shops, but the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful for a good night’s rest. The staff is super friendly, kind and very helpful. I stayed here before and my trek and was able to extend my stay easily when I wasn’t able to get a flight to Lukla due to weather and then I was easily able to extend my check-out time for my departure so I could take some more rest after a long trek. The hotel itself is very beautiful with a beautiful rooftop and nice views of Kathmandu. Thank you Madhuban Hotel!

Very nice facilities at a reasonable price. Staff was helpful and accommodating. About a five minute walk to the main tourist area of Thamel. So close enough to walk, but just outside enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of Thamel. Would stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel we loved our stay, the staff are so incredible! They were very helpful in organising transfers and even took us on a day trip to a near by village. They were very reasonable in pricing and professional. I did some remote work on video calls here and the wifi worked well even when there were power cuts there was a back up generator. The shower and hot water was great. Perfect breakfast provided as well. I definitely recommend this hotel! It was perfect!
