Staff were friendly and accommodating to changing our room when it was not acceptable due to very bad cigarette smells. Great location Rooms had a very strong smell of cigarettes that seemed to get worse over the day. The bathroom smelt so badly of stale cigarettes that we had to move rooms. The second room smelt better but there was no hot water. The first room we stayed in was extremely loud as it faced onto a nightclub which played music so loudly all night, making it a very uncomfortable night sleep

Great room! It was clean and furnished in a modern style. Hotel is located centrally in Thamel, yet it’s a quiet location so no construction site noises or loud people on the street could be heard. The personnel was amazingly nice, interested and very supportive in any (special) requests. Great breakfast on the rooftop restaurant with a great view over Kathmandu.

I prolonged my stay for another night and was able to keep my great room! It was clean and furnished in a modern style. Hotel is located centrally in Thamel, yet it’s a quiet location so no construction site noises or loud people on the street could be heard. The hotel is right in the heart of Thamel. My room was very spacious and clean. I love the rooftop garden. It has a clear view of Swayambunath temple. II wish I had more days to spend my evenings on the rooftop garden, sipping my drinks and eating yummy foods. The staffs were attentive and clean. I had a heart warming conversation with the owner and two other guys. They have been running a school in Mustang which they built twenty some years ago. They also planted over a thousand apple trees in Mustang. All the proceeds from the apple sales helps to pay some of the school expenses. That conversation made my stay more satisfying. Thank You??? Clean, Convenient and helpful!

The best thing about this hotel was the location. Located right in the middle of Thamel. You can find restaurants, shops, bars and other facilities in every direction from the hotel. They had a basic option for breakfast (set menu) which was ok. Staffs at the reception and the manager were quite helpful. Rooms were ok. not very spacious but enough for what you'll need. If you are not a party person and going to bed early, you may find the sounds from the bars around a little bit problematic. But we were tired most of the days after the entire day's activities, so the sounds were tolerable as it didn't make much of a problem.

Wonderful, well laid out and sumptuous breakfast. Excellent dining facility and lovely food preparation in all meals. Very homely atmosphere, and the best combination of a boutique hotel and homestay experience. The noise levels in the surrounding neighborhood need to be lowered or even eliminated say after 11.00 PM or even midnight. This could be managed by a community agreement for mutual benefit of all residents in the localality.

The location was perfect. Easy to roam around and getting transport to various destinations was no trouble. Both Jigme & Tashi were exceptional hosts. Breakfast was simple, tasty and everyday there was a change in the menu. The scrambled eggs with cheese was my favorite. ( eggs were on order) All the food on the menu was very tasty and flavorful. The chicken salad. pizzas and momos were the highlights. The terrace garden and restaurant were tastefully done and had a view. They were very helpful in arranging the tours to various tourist spots. Bhaktapur, Bodha, Chandragiri hills.
