I would 100 percent stay here again if in Kathmandu. Right in the middle of Thamel to walk around to great food, shops etc. Yet has a more upscale feel and super relaxed vibe while in the middle of the city. The staff were wonderful and kind and helpful with all of my needs. I also got a massage at the spa which was great! Highly recommend. Oh and the view from the rooftop is fantastic. 10/10

Reviewer used and observed more than adequate kitchen, laundry service, airport shuttle and massage studio. Stayed during NYE celebration. Guest interaction with each could have been better though that is not always a reflection of hotel staff. Tipping box was available and individual tipping was also accepted as well.

I had a wonderful experience — the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my visit. The food was absolutely outstanding — I would rate it a solid 10/10 for both taste and presentation. The restaurant had a great ambiance, and the overall customer service was exceptional. While I appreciated certain aspects of the property, I believe there is a serious need for improvement in the rooms, particularly the beds and mattresses. The spring mattresses currently in use are quite uncomfortable and not up to the standards expected from a hotel of this rating. I understand that the hotel is older, but the room felt quite small and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, which affected the overall experience. Please take this as constructive feedback — with some upgrades, especially to the bedding and room facilities, this property has great potential to offer a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday and wow it exceeded my expectations. I had a very memorable and fantastic exeperience at Hotel Moonlight. All the staff members were very hospitable and always ready to help. Special thanks to Nabin who communicated with me since the beginning and always ready to answer my queries. Thank you for doing the extra miles and making sure i only get a unique and the best experience in Nepal. To those handsome and professional drivers Anil and Sobet, general manager Jiv and cheerful Umaa, receptionist and restaurant staff, all good security members and beautiful people. The amazing garden at this property and the view from rooftop always made my day while staying with them. The breakfast , bed and entire facilities were just flawless . The staffs were too attentive . Highly recommend hotel in Kathmandu .

This was a lovely hotel in the heart of Kathmandu with very professional staffs at service. Their food, room and the ambiance actually won my heart. I would come again and again for the breakfast during my next visit to Kathmandu. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality.

The loyalty of each staffs working here made my stay more remarkable. I would definitely stay here again in my next visit to Nepal. The variety of breakfast was absolutely delightful where the rooftop and garden enhances the staycation.

Breakfast was pretty decent with quite a bit of variety catering for various segments of people. Some of the items could be avoided. Room was was big and beds were comfortable. Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient too. No gym in the hotel.

The staff were so helpful. For example my credit card got “eaten” by the atm and the staff sorted. They also helped me find a tailor
