Location is good and its quiet with nice grounds and staff. Breakfast is good and again, staff helpful. Upon arrival tv, heating and kettle not working. All light sockets lose so adapter kept falling out...linens on bed were old and stained but clean. Staff fixed tv and heating....they were prompt and helpful. I've stayed here many times and have loved it and will stay again but it needs some work in the rooms so everything works and new bedspread and linens. Again, linens and outlets were the issues...all easy to fix. I love this place because the staff is really nice and owner is terrific....its so close to thamel but secluded so you can rest at any time day or night.

The location is the best. In the heart of thamel but away from the streets. Little oasis in the chaos of the main city. The restaurant wasn’t inviting, rarely people in there so we decided to eat outside. The breakfast choices were ok.

The taste of breakfast was very good, which means the chef is outstanding, but in terms of serving the breakfast or management of breakfast, Nepal Cottage Resort has a huge space to improve. Such as - all the ordered items don't come in an expected manner, when multiple items are ordered, the waiter lose the track of items(it happened every time by 2 waiters). Especially the receiptionist Sourav's service was very friendly and warming. The location is peaceful and soothing. But in terms of room service - TV were not working in 2 rooms (the 2 rooms we stayed), the commode flash was not working properly in 103 that is a real mess. But Nepal Cottage Resort didn't compensate for this which questions the professionalism! In addition, comparing the price with the other hotels, it seemed Nepal Cottage Resort charges extensively high which will demotivate the tourists to choose Nepal Cottage Resort. In the 2nd phase(28th and 29th January 2025) I didn't book through Booking.com but booked physically where I got 3,000 NPR discount comparing with the 1st phase(24th and 25th January, 2025), for the same services. This is also professionally not fair. Check the above point. - Hotel Price - Meal serving - Not to compensate for non-functional and irregular facilities (TV and flush of commode)

It is a wonderful spacious property in middle of the congested place. The location is excellent. I feel it was a bit overpriced. The property is very neat and clean and the staffs are wonderful and very friendly. It was a bit overpriced comparing to the size of the room and considering all facilities. It could be less pricy.

Excellent location. Fantastic breakfast. Very warm and caring staff. Thamel is walking distance. There's greenery and a lot of quiet within the premises. Loved our stay We stayed for four days. We would have liked to have had our room cleaned everyday. It was not a big problem though. More of a suggestion to be better

The location was great! Rooms look out on to beautiful green gardens. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Extended my stay for an additional 2 nights. Would highly recommend :) N/A

Good hotel near Thamel. Rooms were big enough. Garden was a bonus. There were guava and grapefruit trees, and my 6-year-old had a lot of fun picking and eating them. Friendly and smiling staff. They kept our luggage when we left for Nagarkot for three days, which was a great help. Breakfast could be better.

Everything about it is great. The facilities and the staff. They picked me up from the airport at 11.00 pm and it was all very smooth.
