The all over staf was truly hospitable specially Vijay and housekeeping staff are are very pro alway willing to help certainly I will choose again and again Wi-Fi is too slow few times

Even it’s 8 beds room but the space is big and also there’s 2 wash rooms so it’s nice . There’s no common area , there’s a restaurant but we’re not allowed to bring outside food so it’s not really like we can seat there without ordering the drinks or food there , that kinda vibe

Absolutely horrible

It may take a second to appreciate the hidden brilliance of this hostel, but you quickly will. Every single member of staff is wonderful, from the cleaners to the restaurant and reception. Comfortable beds, good and cheap food, and clean facilities. Easy access to the winding roads of Thames but quiet enough to get a good sleep. I’ll be back!

Good hangout area to meet other travelers. The showers were either boiling hot or ice cold. It was a real struggle to get a decent shower.

I told the staff i would write a review but its already some months ago... i forgot! however i did not forget the place!! So here i am months later. I met the owner first and his story is very special, wanderthirst is a beautiful open hostel where they also provide private rooms. I slept in both. It was clean, espcially for the low price point its quiet special. Everyone of the staff became my friend and it made me feel so welcomed. The rooms have alot of art and the people who get attracted to this place are creative and fun, the community is a 10/10 I didnt like i had to leave haha!!

First of all, the view & ambiances is really good. Morning view was awesome. Stuff's behaviour was good, they were so helpful. We even got a good discount from them in room renting. Just don't book any bus tickets from them, they actually charged much then the actual price. Try to book bus tickets straight from the bus counter.

Really no better place to stay. There are a ton of people packed into this place but unlike most hostels they have enough bathrooms to balance it all out. The view is also spectacular!

Heads to Dinesh at the desk who was very helpful and affectionate! Some facilities (toilet, bathroom) were not in a very good condition. Could be cleaner.

Really nice atmosphere and layout, with plenty of communal areas to meet people or do your own thing. Took the twin room/single room which were both very comfortable! Location is great as it is close to many things, yet not the main street. Some of the younger reception staff weren't as welcoming or helpful as I had hoped.

The rooms are clean & big, the bed is comfortable, the toilets are clean, they have a laundry facility at the doorstep, and the food is healthy in their restaurant. All the facilities with respect to the adventures & trekking are available without any extra cost, taxi facility available. & The most important staff is very friendly & cooperating, always ready to help you out. There is nothing that I don't like about this property.

After Travelling to Lukla & coming back to wanderthirst to continue my stay in Kathmandu because I am happy with the Hotels, they have everything within the reach what ever you ask for. I kept my luggage in their locker room which is nice for the traveler like me to visit nearby places & to go back after 2-3 days. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends There is nothing to complain about them

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, washrooms are clean, laundry facilities within the property, taxi facility they have, separate team with regards to all the hiking & trekking in Nepal, with regards all the information with no extra cost. Their restaurant has all the healthy options. Nothing to complain
