BnB Royal Tourist House

The staff was extremely sweet. They even arranged tickets for a bus to Sauraha (but they can book tickets for other locations as well), so we didn’t have to go elsewhere. The bus station—if you could call it that, since it’s just a spot next to the main road—is down the street. The men walked with us and helped us find the right bus—there are a lot(!) of them. Also, the tickets were supposed to cost 200 NPR more each, but since they got them at a lower price, they passed the savings on to us. They even packed a breakfast to go because we were leaving very early. The sheets were a bit dirty, but nothing too bad. The water in the shower was cold, and the water pressure in the sink was very low.

All in all I really enjoyed my time at the BnB and can highly recommend it. the hosts in particular are extremely friendly and accommodating.

The owner of this tourist house has sincere and friendly behaviour. I like his attitude. No stuff, no room service. It was not good to stay there without room service.

Decent hotel in Thamel but in a very quiet area. Also, very close to the tourist bus station (to Pokhara). Everything was good. We've got a lot of help and very good recommendations from Mr. Janaki and his wife. Mr. Janaki also booked for us a wonderful hotel in Pokhara, helped with permits, and gave us a lot of good advice for our trekking. You can really trust their advice! Breakfast was ok, just the same every day. Perhaps it's because it was the end of the season and we were the only guests. I would personally appreciate options to choose a different / Nepali breakfast (even pay more)

Everything was fine. Host Janaki will guide you and help you with everything needed. Rochana Ma has beautiful kitchen and dinning Hall upstairs and will feed you with tasty home made breakfast food.? Eveything was OK, nothing to complain.

Such a fabulous place. Great location and really nice rooms. Family run and you are so well taken care of. The breakfast is really yummy too. They can also organise tours, flights etc. Highly recommend!

Hello. Everything was very nice. I like the area, night silence, beautiful dinning hall, very good breakfast and wonderful friendly host Janaki and Roshana. Very happy. Nothing to complain realy.

The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. And we were vegetarian and Indian, so they arranged the breakfast for us accordingly which I feel is what makes this visit a special one. Great hotel ? I will like to visit again whenever I visit Nepal

The hosts; business owners, were very friendly, caring and helpful. They made us feel like homely environment. It was quiet location close to local amenities and good transport link. The location is little bit uphill and it may not suit to those with walking aids though transport availability is perfect.

Exceptional

The location is great, close to main touristic areas like Thamel and also to bus stations like Balaju, Sorhakhutte and Bus Park (departures to Pokhara and Chitwan). The room was clean, comfortable and big. The bathroom was clean and had hot water. The staff is very friendly and familiar. We had breakfast every morning in the kitchen which was delicious The bathroom in our room was a bit small.

This is a very affordable clean place to stay. The owner is lovely & answered all my questions & was very helpful. It is very quiet. I didn’t see any other guests while I was there. Also - the hot water shower didn’t get hot.

Very helpful hosts when organising Trekkingtrips, without a sign of self profit interest. Breakfast was amazing and we recommend this accomodation strongly. We even got a room upgrade. Bathroom could have been bigger, but it was totally fine.

Great place! Everything you need is there. Near to thamel and city centre. Mr. Janaki is wonderful host, who made our stay just great. He's very helpful, he can help you arrange everything you need.

Easy access to Tourist bus station

I had the best welcome. The location is good, close to everything. Quiet place and clean. The owner was really helpful and friendly and easy to reach. I could also store my luggage there while I was away trekking for 2 weeks. I got help booking taxis and got alot of question answered.
