Close to the beach, nice staff Way too noisy (the village itself noisy being too close to the airport), rigid rules around the swimming pool (i.e closing at 18:30)

Very beautiful and quiet place. Feels like a private home. Kate and other staffs were very friendly and hospitable. They now made it very hard for us in future to stay anywhere else in Crete ?. We just loved it. Two things I would point out as constructive criticism - 1. The villa advertise itself as self catering; however there’s no facility for cooking like pot/pans, utensils, knife, chopping board, microwave, etc. It has an induction stove but without other equipments it’s not possible to self cater. 2. The TV in the room is quite old and has limited channels. It would be nice to get s smart TV which has Netflix, YouTube, Prime, etc. Its gives a great advantage to the family who have small children or even to adults who don’t feel like going outside every night.

Not a hotel or just apartment but best of both. Very good and hospitable staff. Everything that matters and you really need is perfect, unnecessary things were cut. This is a family run business and they like to run it efficiently. I don't need a hotel with night time reception, animators, nanny and personal juggler. If you are like me this is perfect place for you. Everyone from receptionist, barman, cook to waitress / maid and gardener does their job 100%. That is best thing about this facility: they really care about their guests and make sure you will enjoy your time in Evdokia Suites. I only realized that this place is self catering after I booked my stay there. I can't cook so I was really glad that there is a breakfast (very good, and you can choose exactly what you want - definitely order breakfast when booking your stay here) and they are cooking until 15:00. And how! I only had few dishes, but all were superb. I recommend their chicken souvlaki. + Good location - almost right next to beach + Even though my suite was on ground floor I had all the privacy I needed thanks to well placed bushes, greenery and window blinds Excelent price/ quality ratio! There were ants in my bathroom. But I told the staff and am sure that they are extrminated / it's solved by now. They have a very beautiful swimming pool with nightime lights but it's only available from morning to 18:00. I was told that it's for maintenance. (I really think that it's because there is no one present in late evening. So to avoid legal trouble if someone stupid / drunk goes for swim and accident happens the pool is only available until 18:00) - I have understanding for that but as I love swimming in the evening it would be great to have it available to 20:00 or at least 19:00. But this is not a big problem if you want to swim in the evening or at night it's very close to sea.

We were blown away by this lovely little complex, the apartment was spacious and clean with all the amenities you could want. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The location was perfect for days on the beach, afternoons in a taverna or a bus trip to explore further afield. We will definitely be back! The only part of our stay that we did not enjoy was having to go home!

The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helped us to organize trips and transports. The facilities are clean and very nice, there is a beach bar and possibilities to get drinks and food. It is very close to the beach we really enjoyed our stay at Evdokia and recommend it. N/A.

Kate, Adam , Anthony, Venathea & Grizelda are exceptionally welcoming & cannot do enough to make your stay a good 1. I would never hesitate in recommending Evdokia Suites to anyone wishing to visit beautiful Crete. This is a perfect location to explore & is so close to the beach but also hidden away from the crowd. I promise you will be more than happy with a stay with these lovely people. Yamas ? Sun loungers are a tad uncomfortable

We liked the personal touch:) Host was very welcoming and warm, Welcoming drink and goodbye present was little surprise.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The homemade cakes were amazing! It was a very nice stay and would highly recommend. I'm only nitpicking but the shower head holder wouldn't hold the shower head. The safe didn't work, and it would have been nice to be able to turn the air-conditioning lower.

We enjoyed it very much! The hosts and employees were so kind and helpful! The breakfast was perfect, beach and restaurants around the corner, clean rooms, enough towels, and parking space for the rental car. A perfect location to visit nice spots and cities.

Excellent and substantial breakfast based on what you select from a menu list. You can enjoy eating it next to the pool. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff at the bar/canteen area. Silent place 5 minutes walking to the beach with several restaurants available. Also, two car rental options (minimum) available within 5 minutes walking. We had a really great time. Nothing about the place itself. However as far as the location, best to rent a car if you also want to visit the sights in the region. There is a bus stop (e.g. to get to Heraklion) though within 10-15 minutes walking, but at times it turned out to be unreliable.

We stayed in one bedroom apartment (2 adults and 2 kids), the apartment is very spacious (much bigger than in other similar accommodations), nice modern design, The staff were very friendly. Delicious breakfast (prepared fresh for you). Great location (couple of minutes walk to a really nice beach). Our kids enjoyed little playground with swings. Air conditioner is very good (in the living room area only) and included in the price. Shower is very good. The balcony had a line for drying clothes but nothing got dry in there so we had to dry kids swimsuits outside. Very small territory. Supermarkets with good selection of fresh fruits/veg are quite far.

The staff at the hotel were great especially Katerina who deserves a medal for addressing every request or concern professionally and quickly. This is an old hotel which has been refurbished and is somewhat basic as a result. The community it's in is largely populated by tourists who are "beamed in" to sunbathe and party for a few days and go home. If you are wanting to see Crete and see the historical sites and experience Greek culture this location is not ideal. The restaurants are total tourist traps and the food was not authentic and overpriced especially "ISLA".....avoid it at all costs!!! Every meal on Crete and the rest of my Greece travels was way better!!
