Sol Marina Beach Crete

The staff were very polite and always ready to help with anything. We had two early tours, and they opened the restaurant for us to have an early breakfast and even provided lunch boxes. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, even on the beach. There’s no need to stress about sunbeds – there are always free ones on the beach, no need to reserve. The room and restaurant were cleaned well. The animation was fun and not intrusive, with plenty of different programs for every taste. The food is standard – nothing fancy, but you definitely won’t go hungry. The cutlery in the restaurant is quite old, which makes it feel more like eating in a roadside canteen rather than in a restaurant. The glasses were not always perfectly clean. The beach staff don’t have proper equipment for cleaning the beach and sunbeds. Also, the restroom near the reception is in need of renovation.

There were many activities for kids, nice swimming pools, a lot of beach chairs. There were no stones on the shore and in the sea, only sand, which was comfortable for children to play and swimming in the sea. It was very noisily because hotel is located near the airport and whole day till late night planes were flying over your head. In august there were a lot of visitors and it was impossible to find free chair next to the swimming pools. But our family generally enjoyed our vacation in this hotel.

Superb

Our room was on the 4th floor with the view to the see and the pool. It was beautiful, and clean. It had an air conditioner and a balcony. There were 4 pools, a big one in front of the main building, a baby pool next to it, a smaller pool between the bungalows and the kids pool with slides next to it. They were open from 10 to 18. The staff was exceptional, especially the animators. Lots of program for kids and adults too (fitness, yoga, water polo, dance, aqua fitness, beer pong, etc.). Every night at 8 pm mini disco for the kids and after that more performance. The food was great, almost every dinner had a theme (mexican, italian, etc.), but everything was delicious. The night shows were loud and ended between 23 and 24, but it was not unbearable, I expected to have food for kids especially, like nuggets, fish fingers, bolognese pasta, but it was a rare occasion. my son is really picky so most of the time he ate only fries :(

Everything was excellent, the entire hotel staff did everything to make our stay pleasant, all the people at the reception office, the cleanliness of the rooms, the great food, the water park, the pools for children and adults were really an attraction, The dining room served a rich and diverse selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner That the great vacation is over

The hotel it beautiful and clean, the staff verry helpfull , food good and for everybody, drinks are fine but not soo good all the time, ice cream was verry tasty, pools super my dauther was super happy and us also. The beach it s ok but not the best but for us was fine ( the sea it s with wives that was super cool for us!). The complex it s verry beatiful but if you go out side of it you don't have nothing to see!! Just 2..3 restaurants and 2 shops and some houses .

Everything was excellent, thank you to all the hotel staff who did everything to make our stay pleasant, to all the people in the reception office, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the employees of the wonderful dining room, to all the people in the excellent kitchen, thank you very much. the water park, the pools for children and adults were a real attraction, and to all the service providers in the hotel.

Beautiful environment, big pools, nice beach nearby. The food was great, the staff was amazing, very friendly, helpful and flexible. Great for families, the kids loved the mini disco in the evening and we enjoyed chilling out in the bar. We are considering to return next year. The pillows were a bit too thick for my taste, so I didn’t sleep that well, maybe adding a bit less thick pillow per room could make sleeping more comfortable.

Superb

The experience overall is super great. Clean rooms, nice waterpools, very delicious foods and drinks! Friendly and flexible staff. Lot of programs and places for little children. There is a supermarket inside the hotel, they have everything. The lighting in the room was not always enough.

cleaning staff kitchen staff bathroom the photos are misleading. it is not 4 stars hotel. maybe in 90‘s but not anymore. no sauna. everything is smaller than the pictures. everything is old. bad internet connection.
