Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort

Compact resort. Everything nearby - main restaurant, pools, water parks, bars. Food is mediocre. Even in the "special" restaurants. The all-inclisive ends at the main bar at 23:00, while the bar serves drinks until 01:00 with additional charge! Also, the soda dispenser was shut down at 23:00. There's another bar in all inclusive up to 01:00, but this it's definitely less attractive than the main bar. No rooms with 2 toilets/showers and with 5 persons in a room it can be challenging.

Food was good - any time i prefer tasty food over food that varies every day. There was always vegetables, fruit, seafood, local food available, pools were great, beach was close enough, staff was friendly. Kids club was kind of boring. It was neither organised nor super fun. The staff there was nice. But I've seen kids clubs that are crazy fun with dancing, pillow fights and so on. And ones where all the kids march around and sing like scouts. Here kids could come and draw. Kids buffet table could be at kids height. There was children's buffet, but children actually had hard time getting food from there because it was at adult height. Getting a sunbed around one of the pools was tough, everyone booked their beds early in the morning. Annoying, but soon you'll learn to do the same...

We had a great time with the children, nice pools but very cold for the kids, the food was better in the morning than in the evening but in general was good with big selection, the meal at the asian restaurant was very tasty, and the pizza station was really good, the place was nice and big with kids area which was really helpful, the staff was kind but specially Nina who cleaned our room, such a great and hard working person. the temperature at the pools, it isn´t logical for little children, the lunch meal could be better.

We stayed from the last week of September through the beginning of October. We enjoyed the many pools and lots of sunbads . Pizza and the gyros are so delicious at the snack bar. The entertainment team, both the girls and boys, were fantastic—always smiling and full of energy. From October 1st, the main pool was heated, which was great . Our room was cleaned daily, and the receptionist went out of their way to arrange an early check-in for us. Check-out was smooth, and we appreciated being able to remain at the hotel and use all the facilities until the evening. This is far from being a 5-star hotel. The family room consisted of two very basic sections with plain walls and no storage space for our clothes. One section had no window, leaving us without fresh air and making it difficult to sleep well. The food selection was large, but made from average-quality ingredients, with no premium meats, fish, or cheeses, and breakfast remained identical every day. Unfortunately, the pools with slides, including the splash pool and kids’ pool, were so cold that we could hardly enjoy them, which left the children disappointed.

Perfect for families with small children. We enjoyed the night shows very much. The staff of the hotel was exceptional - so active and friendly. The Breakfast was very good - rich and tasty. The facilities were very good and a lot of fun. Rooms were very comfortable and nice. We consider coming back again with our larger family ?❤️ The dinner at the restaurant didn't meet the expectations in some nights, including the Asian restaurant. The water was a bit too cold at the pool for my children but this is individual, as I appreciate cold fresh and clean water. We were surprised to discover that there is a construction sight at the hotel, which is getting expanded. It didn't really matter, but still compromised the peaceful environment. The rooms lacked a solution for hanging towels. ??

Variety of food, lots of pools Everything is clean And the stuff is very good

-the main restaurant was amazing - great music, great themed dinners (mexican, italian etc.), lots of choice, food was very tasty -there are multiple pool areas, staying at the pools never felt crowded -live music band on wednesday night was awesome (2.5 hours shows) -waterpark slides and facilities were well maintained. Lots of fun for both children and adults -The layout of the hotel is poorly designed in my opinion. There is a main bar offering the largest variety of alcoholic drinks, but it is located a fair distance from the different pool areas/rooms. It’s a bit inconvenient to have to leave the area you’re staying in just to go to the main bar to get a drink. This layout creates long queues at the main bar, especially at night. -you can get ice cream only at one parlor which is not the main bar. This creates an almost constant queue for ice-cream. -texas burger meat quality is disappointing. -The water in the pools was quite cold, even under august sun (summer).

Plenty of pools The room was clean The slides are fun Kids enjoyed the pools, slides and kids pool A lot of the food staff ask where you are from. I wanted food not a discussion When the main dining area is busy there is a lack of tables, which shows a lack of supervision.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, the pools and the water slides are great for the kids. We had a great time there. The rooms are old and uncomfortable. We needed to repair different things (toilet, bathroom, air conditioning) few times during our stay. We did not go to a la carte restaurants because there was no good time ore us to order, the available time was too late and we were with the kids that eat at certain times. The main restaurant is ok, but no great. Some things are good, some things are not tasty. Overall I don’t think this is a five star hotel, I think the rooms are very far from being a five star.

I liked the swimming pools and water parks

The water park is fun and super nice for kids the ages 3 to 10. Also the shows at evening for kids were very entertaining and really great. The service at the reception and the dining area was average to say the least, can't be compared with real 5 stars hotel service - not pleasant service and not providing the sense of care. While I have to admit in bars, pool and kids clubs the service was good. Food at the dinning room was no appealing, not in looks and definitely not in the taste.

All inclusive was great, food and drinks all around the day were fantastic. Staff was very warm and kind, and room was made every day as expected. Before we came we made sure that there is an heated pool since it’s still not the hot season. In reality the pool that was supposed to be heated - wasn’t - we were all freezing and couldn’t stay a lot in the water. It was mainly important to us since we rely on this activity for our small kids.

we have been here a few times and everyone has always been really nice to us. we will definitely be back again

Staff were lovely, polite and engaging, food was really nice and the hotel, across all areas is spotlessly clean. If your looking for a family holiday, with kids, this is a great place to go and even in mid October the temp is still 22-24. Beaches are five minutes walk with really competitive hire prices for cars, bikes etc Also, a big shout out to the taxis firms....22 euros private taxi from the airport (about 15 -20mins) imagine that in England!! Nothing, enjoyed every minute

Special thanks to Maria (Pool bar), Vasilis, Stavros (restaurant) and Jorgos. They were really kind and made our stay pleasant. Variety of things to do with children was excellent. Admirations of the food. It was really high quality and the variety of meals was really big. Animation team was very good and they gave us excellent laugh in the evenings. I wasn't allowed to use the gym with sandals and I did bot have sport shoes. The drainage in the bathroom could be a vit better. The size of the maisonette is a bit small for families. I liked the room - it was large and clean, with modern design and good air conditioning. The food was also excellent: convenient schedule for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And what was pleasant - there was food (pizza, ghiros, hamburgers) available even between main meals. Every guest was offered to reserve a restaurant once per stay, we tried Greek cuisine - and it was well organized degustation of local dishes. This hotel was not my choice, and I was aware of disadvantages beforehand, but I came here anyway for several days to be together with our friends. So, things I didn't like is mostly about me and my personal preferences. I didn't like the location. The hotel is not the first line. You have to go to the public beach which is around 10 min away on foot and where you have to pay for sunbeds. Also the territory around the hotel doesn't impress: few greenery, almost no places to walk on foot. Evening entertainment was also not in my taste. It would be boring for me to stay there more than several days. But it depends on the person, of course.

The slides were the deciding factor for us booking this hotel. My favorite thing was the gyro stand. The staff were all kind and helpful if asked. The alcohol was included in the price which was great! Our room wasn’t that great. The tv kept having issues, the light in our master wouldn’t work and neither did the outlet on one side. I wish the gym opened earlier but it is open the same Time as the pool so we couldn’t go because our kids had to be supervised at the pool. The food at the dinner buffet was alright. It didn’t have variety and the same things kept being served. We loved eating at the Asian restaurant the most.
