The room was just about ok. The bathroom was minging…the staff thought it acceptable to move mattresses and drill after midnight, it was very noisy

Perfect enough for its price, I enjoyed my isolation here without the disturbance of the external world, so much privacy and hidden. Good value and perfect receptionist. Highly recommended for budget travellers. Not speaking English, if necessary prepare your app translation. Hot shower and good Wi-Fi. A little poetic darkness, like an old fashioned movie hotel scene, but definitely not a big deal.

Location is very good. Walking distance from city square and bus-tram- shopping center Staff can’t speak English. Communication was not good for me. Specially, one cleaner continuously talking in Dutch and commanding me not to use breakfast room for tea. she was angry at me because I didn’t understand her language. And she was complaining about me to other people. It was wired feeling for me.

A bit shady, overall

Good breakfast and all day tea and hot water. No coffee when we were there, but an amazing coffee specialist practically next door, so we made our own coffee.

Exceptional

We booked this hotel as our last pitstop before our flight out of Kayseri. It's conveniently located in the heart of the town, surrounded by local delicacies at affordable prices. It was a great place to park our things, close to the airport, while still being able to explore the area. The hotel keeper, a kind and friendly elderly man, was very helpful and a bit worried when we left to catch our flight instead of staying the night. The room was surprisingly spacious, making for a comfortable stopover.

This place offers a good value for money. It's all quite basic, but that's to be expected for this price. If I'd come back to Kayseri, I'd be happy to stay for another night. The power outlet in the bathroom had some burning marks. It made me question the safety of it.

The location was perfect for getting into the city center fast. So getting to the castles, museums and shops on foot was very easy for my young daughter who was a student on a tight budget. I've never written a bad review on Booking.com but thats because I've never encountered a horrible hotel as this before. I booked the hotel for my daughter who went to Kayseri for a short break and wanted an affordable place near the city center. Unfortunately, this hotel lessened her holiday enjoyment. 1. No one made any attempt to make her feel at home. 2. The room was very old, smelly and very low standard with old sheets 3. The Wi-Fi, which was very poor, went off completely at night, probably because it was turned off. 4. She arrived her room to meet shaved beard hair stubbles all over the sink with a used soap with hair all over it and opened toiletries bottles left behind by the last occupant and till she left, no one ever came to clean her room or remove the hairs and disgusting used toiletries. ZOOM PHOTOS! 5. There was disgusting human waste residue at the bottom of the toilet bowl and the sink and WC leaked water and flooded the toilet floor each time she used them. 6. She was so traumatised by her experience that I sent a message to the property detailing everything & asking them to change her room immediately or thoroughly clean it but they neither replied nor cleaned the room even after the 4th day of her stay! I reported the matter to Booking.com asking them to intervene but the only thing that happened thereafter was that the hotel replied me 3 days later to say they "werent aware of any requests" (whatever that meant!) & then someone called her room one evening from the reception to ask if she wanted her room cleaned. But after 4 days in a dirty room, she had had enough so she just hung up the phone. 7. In the end, my daughter told me she could simply not bear to stay in that room another night and I told her to pack up and leave a day before her money expired. So although we paid for 6 nights she barely made it thru 5 nights and had to leave. 8. Yes, this is an affordable hotel BUT ITS NOT value for money.
