Motel 6 Kearney, NE

It was fine. It's very obvious that this hotel has gotten a facelift. All the fixtures seem new but the beds were old with new sheet sets on them. You only get two pillows as well.

We was just staying to sleep an shower then leaving to start hour vacation, Geat place.

We walked into our non smoking room and it smelled like stale cigarette smoke being covered up by mint, absolutely disgusting. I asked for a different room, it was better as far as smell. The bed was very uncomfortable and the hotel is old so I just felt icky in general. The cheaper way isn’t always the best way I discovered. It was a nights stay as we continued our trip from Colo to Iowa. But I wouldn’t do it again. Just depends what your level of expectations are I guess.

Plan hotel but does the job

Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The staff was more interested in their cell phone than helping out consumers but I guess that is every where. Was not like this last time I visited. The parking was safe and ample. The room was well air conditioned and nice. Amenities such as shampoo and lotion are available at the front desk.

The property is "pet friendly" according to the front desk clerk, but I didn't expect the room to smell like dogs/cats/whatever. It was a very strong odor and I considered leaving and going somewhere else but we were in the middle of a thunderstorm. The bathroom was clean and the bedding appeared to be clean but the floor was sticky and needed a good scrubbing.

Our room was clean, quiet and the beds comfortable-just what we needed after a day of traveling.

Staff was good.

I rarely ever stay at Motel 6, because they are usually not that great. But this one got great reviews, and rightfully so. This is a new and very nice hotel. It's a great bargain.

This is one of the top notch Motel 6 Hotel that we've experienced so far. Most of the Motel 6 hotels that we've stayed in so far were lousy, but not this one. Kudos to the Manager and Staff for providing such a great experience for the average travelers. We highly recommend this Motel 6 in Kearney, Nebraska. Thank You :)

Clean, very well-maintained, friendly front desk. Quiet, pet friendly, great shower pressure, comfy bed. Great value. We will stay again! Nebraska Ale Works less than a block away with good food and beer.

It worked but why are all the stays going to cheap covers? Or bedspread was a mattress pad! Strange but worked.
