Ndiro Beach House Kendwa

Step out, there is the beach. Family run We got a room where there were 2 other rooms; No toiletries, unclean old towels, dirty hot water jug with no coffee powder or tea bag’s out sugar, no shower curtain, no shower head only hand shower, no car parking area, no bottled water, no refrigerator, no reception

Breakfast was acceptable. The biggest plus was proximity to the beach. We were told that there would be a fridge but on arrival it was broken. Ndiri house is not easy to find if you are not familiar with the area.

We had issues with our rooms on arrival but Ali was helpful and went out of his way to address and resolve our concerns.

IT IS JUST ON THEBEACH, REALLY COOL STUFF, AND WORTH THE PRICE

Location. Too busy. Very basic accommodation.

Solo female traveler: -AC & fan -hot water -decent in cleanliness -large room -few steps from restaurant -could have been better cleaned(bidet was moldy) -only ONE working plug and it’s in the bathroom!!! -kettle they provided doesn’t plug in the room only in the hall way - shower head didn’t work for my visit and no place to hang it -not beach front as advertised -no receptionist at all,a stranger who said she didn’t work there gave me the keys.for my leave I had to hope a different stranger who said he would call her to be the right person I was to pay. They led me to a corner shop and I payed. Unorganized ****!!!! (I was worried the owner didn’t even know I was in there) -no safety locker at all in the room **** and forget about leaving your bag to enjoy the water on the beach. IMPOSSIBLE -beach is IMPOSSIBLE BUT I SAY IMPOSSIBLE TO ENJOY. Forget relaxing ANYTHING. Expect to be hounded every second of every minute that passes. -NOT SAFE FOR SOLO TRAVEL AT ALL.

It is a beautiful spot, beach front access, and close to so many restaurants and stores. Lovely and clean and great customer service

The location is perfect, right at the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious with all basic necessities. The value for money is excellent.

Nothing is good for this place. Be avear. This place is a scam. Rooms are like garage. No natutal light. windows is facing to the wall of another building, no space between only 1.5m and this is a track for crosing, all night voice's and lot of noise imposible to sleep. air-conditioning work only on maximum. No working shower, Mattress was old and deformed, it was very uncomfortable. and a lot of things aren't right we pay for 5 night and after first night we leave go to different place. they don't want to refund us for the other 4 nights offered us to change to other rooms but it was even worse. be careful with this place.

Ndiro House are family run rooms right on the beach. Our room was pretty basic, but comfortable. The mattress was especially comfortable. We had a fridge and aircon. The family were lovely, always with a smile on their face, and did everything to help with our requests. We felt that the room was super secure with someone always present around the property. The best feature of this property is the location - right on the beach, near the sheltered boats area as well as the greater beach area, and smack in the centre of the village. The sunbeds area was particularly comfortable - secluded, shaded, secure. Lots of eateries nearby for all pockets. We liked that our money went straight to a local family instead of a big resort. Breakfast was adequate, but could improve.

Good value for money. The location is nice, one could always count on a warm shower and the aircondition worked without a problem. The breakfast was simple but ok. The staff was friendly. The frontyard provided a nice space to relax and get some privacy from the harassment on the beach. The communication when checking in and during the stay was quite limited to say the least, but it all worked out in the end.

The location is amazing

Except the location nothing is good about this property This hotel is worst then a B&B for really very low budget travelers. Regular power outrage and only this hotel in the entire neighborhood doesn’t have generator backup
