Kendwe no The sundeck and position of lodge is good There was a aircon in the room next to our room which made a terrible noise and kept us awake both nights We complained 3 times and they never solved the problem. They also busy building and the builders were making a huge noise on the Saturday and Sunday. We wanted to extend our stay in Zanzibar and decided to stay at another resort. We can't recommend them at all. The management needs to be sorted out

The manager was nice and he told me that he will refund the money to my bank account as there was a construction work in front of my room The refund was not provided and I did not receive my money back and the stay was awful I demanded my refund from the manager and he stopped responding. I broke the toilet combination and paid for it also but it was a horrible experience for me and I NEED MY REFUND

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The people were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to the housekeeper who noticed the “Happy Birthday” sign and the balloons and created a beautiful decoration on the bed using towels and balloons. She even wrote “Happy Birthday” with palm leaves. It was a very kind and thoughtful surprise that made my stay even more special. There were a few occasional issues with water and electricity, which I understand is quite normal for this region. The property itself is a bit older, and there were some renovation works happening at the beginning of the stay which caused a little noise and inconvenience, but nothing serious. Overall, it did not affect the experience too much. ?

- Before the trip, we reached out to SunSeaBar Hotel to get a quote for a transfer from the Zanzibar airport. They replied it was $80, and we confirmed that we'd like to move forward...and then we never heard from them again. - We booked a 'Sea View' room, based on the listing photos. The room we were given initially overlooked a construction site and you could baaarely see the ocean if you went to the edge of the balcony and craned your neck. - The rooms are a far cry from 4-stars -- our initial room didn't have pillowcases until we requested them. The second room had a leaking toilet, a bathroom sink that didn't drain, and a shower with only scalding hot water. I wouldn't recommend staying at SunSeaBar Hotel.

If you’re looking for a home away from home, don’t scroll any further. Stop right here and book your stay. I fell ill while on holiday and the doctor at the in-house clinic treated me immediately. She was very friendly, calm and professional. I felt safe and in good hands. It was also free as I paid for health insurance on entry into Zanzibar. The property is very well situated, clean and homely. The manager is simply amazing, detail oriented and very accommodating. I got everything I asked for promptly. I would’ve loved my stay more if there was a smart tv in my room. And laundry service as I was coming from a long trip and needed fresh clothes.
