It was very relaxing, clean, friendly. Met some interesting people. Found it very easy to get to via bus, and very easy to get into the centre of town, and generally perfect for my plans of running in the fells for a few days. Will certainly be going back. In an ideal world I'd put the kitchen closer to the communal eating area, but that's small fry. It's a great hostel overall.

The location was very good. Bed was a little uncomfortable and for the price expected a private room and not shared dorm with bunk beds

Kettles, toasters and fridge space. Staff - Francesca was lovely. Staying behind to explain everything to us even though she had to leave early at 4pm. No personal lights next to bedside. So when someone turns the lights off in the female dorm at 10pm - it is literally pitch black and everyone is quiet. Would also be ideal to have a plug / charge port next to each bed in the dorm, not just at the entrance door.

Staff, layout of the hostel, big dormitory room, huge dining room, plenty toilets/shower rooms A bedside light, a charging mobile phone point beside the beds and privacy bed curtains would make Denton House near perfect!

Didn't see any staff while I was there, it was only one night. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean, it was well laid out with great facilities. There wasn't much, bike storage could do with a simple cover to keep rain off the bikes maybe and I was a fair way out of town. But there wasn't any real bad things about the place.

Lovely clean hostel in an excellent location near Keswick centre. Good facilities all round. Complimentary tea and coffee is available at some hostels it’s really no problem but if I know in advance I can bring my own and not have to buy an entire jar.
