Keystone Boardwalk Inn and Suites

Our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and the staff was wonderful. There wasn't any daily room cleaning but if anything was needed to ask at the desk. Easy access to the boardwalk. Would recommend.

Very pleased with everything.

I was traveling home cross country with my wife after dropping my son off for college on east coast. We started searching for places to stay around Rapid City when we stopped to eat in Sioux Falls. Found this place in Keystone. Booked it. My wife checked the email about 9:45pm and saw the front desk closed at 10pm. I called and no one answered. Left message. Called the emergency cell they left on answering machine. No answer. Left message. I texted the emergency number. Still haven't had either message or text message answered. Everything around Rapid City was sold out by that time. Ended up sleeping in our car at a Love's truck stop RV campsite for an additional charge. Frustrating. If you know you close at 10pm and you have a booking that hasn't shown up by 9:30, why aren't you giving them a call? You had my cell number in the booking. I'm not checking emails while I'm driving.

The hotel overall was nice. However, room rates were higher due to a local festival with large crowds of motorcyclists. The property is very close to Mount Rushmore.

The room was well equipped with what we needed. Only thing that I would say was negative, is that the futon/sofa in our suite could not be sat on. It was broken. Frame was coming apart so sagged terribly in the middle.

Fantastic I would stay again

The staff at the hotel was wonderful. We had an issue with the appliance in our room and they fixed that issue. We asked questions about what to do in town and they gave us all kinds of ideas. The people was great to talk and work with.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Great location. Old building but well maintained and clean.

My partner and I stayed for one night as we traveled through the Black Hills National Forest. This inn was older, but remarkably clean and the mini fridge worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The price is pretty affordable considering it was the first weekend of Sturgis's big motorcycle festival.

We enjoyed our time there, staff was very friendly at the front desk. We talked to them on numberous occasions. the property is located in a great location to everything in Keystone. WiFi is a little weak, and property seems a little dated, but good for what we needed. We will absolutely stay again when we are in the area.

Location was awesome! Nice coffee bar in lobby. Places to eat within EASY walking distance. Older dated property but well maintained. Firm beds which we like, average bedding, decent towels. Fantastic front staff and room very clean, no smells. Because of the age of the property, there are no elevators so access to the second and third floor require hefting your suitcases up. That was not a problem for us, but I think Booking.com needs to make that fact prominent for other people. TV was small, but that’s a minor issue.

Very dated and needs carpets replaced but other than that it is a nice convient location.

Comfortable bedding. Great location just off the boardwalk at the edge of downtown. Old style tub/shower combination.

Room was clean and large had a suite booked. , they do. Not have air on so room needed to cool down. Decor a little dated, but again it was clean, conveniently located and felt safe.

The staff was helpful The room was clean. We would definitely go back there again.
