Roosevelt Inn Mount Rushmore

The stay was wonderful. There was 3 adults and 2 kids. We had a family suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. The room and living room were separated by French doors. The balcony is spacious and overlooked the tramway (which closes early there is no disruption). Breakfast was a very good, standard continental. Staff were very friendly, many live on site so they have a different appreciation for the place. They have maintained it well. One thing to note is that this isn't a fancy 5 star hotel, so if you're looking for that then this isn't it - HOWEVER, it is very well maintained and it's a beautiful building with some really special stories and items to fully bring Teddy Roosevelt's spirit to the place. I would definitely stay again!

The staff was both professional and genuine. The hotel was well maintained and located perfectly to enjoy downtown Keystone by short walk to restaurants and shopping. (And an easy 2.5-mile drive to Mount Rushmore.) This was our most memorable hotel stay on our cross-country trip - we look forward to returning to the Roosevelt!

Wow what a great place to stay. Had all the amenities, indoor pool game room, laundry facilities probably the only downside and a cool balcony. Parking was really tight but no problem.

A well run and well cared for family inn. Staff was beyond great. Best hotel in Keystone by far. Great location. Great experience.

I would recommend staying at the Roosevelt Inn. The staff is super friendly. They have a great breakfast, and it is 2 miles from Mount Rushmore.

Comfortable stay for 1 night while visiting Mt Rushmore

The location and parking were very good. The condition of the hotel is slightly above average, but not great. The staff more than made up for it… They were awesome at every turn!!! Everyone was very accommodating, friendly, and eager to help out!

Front desk staff were super friendly. I even found of their favorite places to eat so I don't have to research. Daily yummy breakfast with varieties of items to choose from. There was always water (with cutup watermelon pieces inside) all day for us to drink; very refreshing. Room was very clean and spacious. The National Presidential Wax Museum is right across the street and you can just walk over there if you have some downtime. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

Breakfast was good but the space was small for as many guests as the hotel can hold. The bed was comfortable, eco friendly toiletries were very nice, and king sized pillows on the king bed were appreciated. Keystone is also a fun tourist town, and we ate dinner at the very nice Powder House Lodge, on the recommendation of the helpful check-in staff.

Great stay. Staff was great, room was clean, breakfast was good and view was good.

The staff service was super at all times, the hotel was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was very good. The room was excellent—clean and well-organized. A place you'll definitely want to return to.

Staff are all very efficient and excellent. The location is the best in all of Keystone. The breakfast is better than all I’ve ever eaten with everything on point. 24/7 coffee never out. Keep in mind I stayed 5 nights and it was always the same great service. I implore everyone to consider this property as I have already booked 7 days next year.

Would definitely stay again! Clean, great breakfast, spacious rooms, close to Mt Rushmore and shopping.

Loved the loft room. With three kids, they all got their own bed. Unusual for us, so it was very nice.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean but the A/C was an odd room A/C. Enjoyed the gazebo they provided. The only complaint would be parking. Would stay there again.
