Quaint and pet friendly The parking lot is very small and hard to maneuver when full. The TV in our room didn’t work, but we were just staying overnight and didn’t worry about it.

Location was great. Very pet friendly. Back yard for Dog. Lots of extras. Can't think of a thing that could be better.

Whatever air freshener they use in the room was very potent, and the floor was a little soft, probably from water damage

I wasn't expecting the full kitchen and it was nice to have, even overnight. It was a well-cared for and comfortable room, with a tired carpet, but an updated bathroom. Exceeded my expectations for the $.

Suited our needs

We booked our suite at the Townhouse Inn & Suites because they are a pet friendly property, and we were traveling with our pet dog Scout, a 20# poodle mix. The room was large, with a log bed, recliner, sofa and kitchenette with full size fridge and stove. Very accommodating for us. The parking lot is a little tight, but manageable. The location is right on a busy street so you do get a little noise from passing vehicles, not too bad though. We had a ground floor room, it would be night to have privacy sheers or blinds so passers by couldn’t look right into our room.

I can write a book about our experience with this place, but since the owner was really apologetic about the whole thing, I'll make it short. My girlfriend couldn't tolerate the smell of this unit, and after we found a dead fly in the bathtub, she left and would rather pay to stay at another inn. I couldn't afford it so I stayed. Beside the overwhelming stench (of grease, spice, incense, and....whatever) the unit looks gloomy and feels sticky. It creeps me out to the point that I didn't dare to place anything on the floor or to open any of the cabinets in the kitchen. The stove looks so disgusting, I had to use one of the towels to cover it so I didn't have to look at it. In short, how could this place get the 8.1 review was beyond me!
