The Parlour Krabi

Beautiful furnishings, felt like your own private beach during certain times of the day. The Italian restaurant next door has more than just Italian food but their pizzas are so good! And the wine and cappuccinos are so good! We tried other places but just kept coming back to the place next door. You can order from here and eat it on your own patio or from the lounge chairs as well. The property and amenities were fine but we ended up with the awkward room we read reviews about that doesn’t have a door to the bathroom. This is super awkward if not traveling solo. Highly recommend you find a way to install a door—perhaps one of the sliding panel doors(?) other than that it was pretty perfect!

Location is amazing, right on the beach! Breakfast was served on the beach as well, which was so cool! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. We were happy about our stay overall :) The bathroom area is open and doesn’t have privacy. We had so many insects in our room on the first night. Sound insulation is very bad and you can hear everything in the corridor and other rooms.

I had no expectations and no prior knowledge of the area before arriving at The Parlour Krabi, but from the moment I stepped onto the property, I knew I had found something special. This little hidden gem is nestled in an epic beachfront location, offering a serene and personal experience that immediately made me fall in love with the resort. What truly sets The Parlour Krabi apart is the exceptional hospitality. You quickly get to know everyone by name, and the hands-on owner, Gina, goes above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. She is not only an accomplished and successful businesswoman but also a true host who prides herself on delivering an unforgettable guest experience. Her warmth and attentiveness create an atmosphere that feels more like staying with friends than at a resort. One of the highlights was Gina’s culinary expertise. While traditional Thai cuisine is available, her Italian-forward menu was a delightful surprise. The pizza, crafted from her experience in Italy, was some of the best I’ve had outside of Europe. It was a refreshing change after days of indulging in Thai food, and every dish reflected her passion for cooking. Though the Ao Nang area is only a 20-minute drive away—offering a lively night market and city-like experiences—I quickly realized my favorite part of Krabi was right here at The Parlour. The peaceful beachfront setting, the good WiFi, the swimmable beach, and the nearby bars and restaurants all added to the charm. I loved it so much that I extended my stay at Gina’s other resort next door, simply because I couldn’t get enough of the area and her hospitality. I will definitely be back! If you're looking for a unique and personal escape in Krabi, this is the place to be. I didn't like that I had to leave. I tried to stay longer, but it was sold out.

We didn't opt for the breakfast. Choose the sea view room so lovely to have beach on door step, a few great restaurants to the left, so easy to walk the few steps along the beach to them. Great place for breakfast a few doors down to the right. Struggled with internet, wifi did not work well in the room, a problem if like me you still had to work! Place a little tired, though I accept the challenges of the last few years are probably a big factor.

Beach front. Rooms were quite comfortable and were clean and provided nice amenities. Way too expensive for what it offers, especially for the beachfront room. The beach front room looked great in the pictures, but the real thing was quite old and had bad smell from the bathroom. For the bathrooms of both beachfront and regular rooms, the showers were close to the toilet bowls with nothing in between (no curtain), so it was uncomfortable trying to take a shower so that the toilet bowl section wasn’t too wet. Especially for the beachfront room which costed around 3300 baht/night, this is not acceptable(also with the bad smell). Although the property was beachfront, there were so many boats it wasn’t quite suitable to swim there, so we had to walk a long way to where it was nice to swim. Although inside of the rooms was nice, despite being much older than they looked in the pictures, the outside was unpleasant. It was not what you would expect from a property charging you at this rate. We were disappointed the minute we saw the front of the property (no reception and it looked like a deserted property with tiny entrance) and more when we walked in.

The staff was very helpful and warm. When you get inside, the rug in front of the bed is VERY slippery. Other than that, it is a nice place to be away from people.

Very nice staff Location literally on the beach. They kindly changed my room as it was not clean but even the other rooms were not very clean. Not clean.....many cobwebs in room and spider mites. Very dark.
