Everything! The location is amazing, directly at the beach, with beautiful spacious rooms and such a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. A special thank you to Micaela and Game at the reception, who were both incredibly kind and helpful throughout the stay. Will definitely come back!

Everything about Amara is exceptional. It’s a wonderful location which is on the best side of the island for beaches (western side), all the rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable, the owners also fluently speak English as well as Thai so it’s just that much more reassuring / convenient but that convenience absolutely doesn’t take away from the authenticity whatsoever. The restaurant attached to the hotel is a beautiful open air beachfront that serves a variety of great food from breakfast options to delicious Thai and other western options & craft cocktails. They have the option of open water scuba certifications that begin with your hands on skills and learning inside the gorgeous onsite pool which begins after your E-education course requirements. I cannot recommend Amara enough, I had accommodations elsewhere that turned out to be a nightmare after arriving, and instead of letting it damper my trip - I just when ahead and booked with Amara as soon as I was fortunate enough to randomly find the beautiful location. N/A

We loved the beach but need taxi to get to elsewhere and other beaches.

There was construction on top of our heads, heavy machinery and tiles falling on top of the room, super noise, starting early through the day, we couldn't rest in the room or enjoy the pool The staff had not warned us about this

Great location, nice beach and very nice and helpful stuff. The room is needed a renovation. The sheets seem very old, the towels were torn and also very old. An excessive amount of ants. The shower needed a renovation, takes quite a lot of time to get hot water. A dog that was there all the time defecated on the beach, near the hotels chair.

the staff are so helpful and attentive! also there's a restaurant and the food is great. its close to massage places beach front which I recommend you to do. everything so clean and they clean for you as well. water also available. it's a lovely relaxing place

It's a great location and the bed was very soft Breakfast was a nice bonus for me Specifically one night gust was playing pull till 4 am and it was very disturbing but I don't fault the hotel for it's rude gust

Breakfast was quite basic but decent. Nice location on the beach, just in the centre of Haad Yao, everything super accessible. Initially I was given a room on the top floor which was stunning, but was sharing a door with another room, where there were a bunch of very nosy guests. I could not sleep until 2am when they decided to shut up. I changed the room the next morning which was nice, but I was downgraded to the ground floor, which was not cool.
