Pretty quiet and close to main road

We stayed at Villa Cha Cha in Koh Phangan in a Beach Front Villa on Salad Beach and the location was definitely the highlight. Being right on the beach was beautiful, and it was so nice to sit and listen to the ocean in the evening. There were plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance, which made it a really easy and relaxed place to stay. There were also plenty of bike rental places nearby. We chose to rent a bike so we could explore more of the island, but if you just want to stay local, everything you need is close by. The staff were lovely throughout our stay and made us feel welcome. The room itself was quite basic, but it was adequate for what we needed. The room is on the simpler side, so it’s worth knowing not to expect anything too luxurious. The bed was also quite hard, so if you prefer a softer mattress that may not suit everyone.

Lovely pool area, and direct access to the beach. Loved the little restaurant on the beach. Our view of the sea from our balcony was obscured by the building in front of our room unfortunately.

The location at Salad Beach is beautiful and convenient. The grounds are ok, and once we were moved, the replacement room was comfortable with a properly functioning air conditioner. The air conditioner in the original room (207) was defective for the first two nights (Feb 4–6). The louver repeatedly failed and required multiple technician visits, each time working briefly before stopping again. Despite this, we were initially told the unit was functioning properly, and a room change was only arranged after two nights. No adjustment was offered for the disrupted portion of the stay. Some of the decorative statues on the grounds were also in visible disrepair, with parts missing, which gave certain areas a slightly neglected appearance.

Nothing No beach massage (closed) No Bech bar (demolished and now the poor bar is at breakfast place which is very poor look and feel. No sun beds at the beach. Reception services is the worse I ever had , they tell you to talk to booking.com (which does nothing!) We left after one night instead of 4 Stay away!!

Clean rooms with comfortable beds and soft pillows (hard to come by in Thailand). Our family room was a stones through from the beach, which was great. Lots of young kids that frequently would make noise in their balcony’s late at night. Not necessarily the staff’s fault, but it would be nice if they would ask people to be quite outside after 22:00. Pool wasn’t open when we were there :-(

Great staff, friendly welcoming and helpful. Out room was located right next to the pool and beach, theres also a bar and restaurant right next to it and massage. Very comfortable room and balcony, big showers and clean.

We liked the position of the property in the bay. Quieter from main beach walking distance to everything that you need. I didn’t like paying the VAT on all purchases made from the bar and restaurant. However I found out when at airport if you get receipt from stay you can claim this back but the line is long. So make sure you factor that in should you want to claim your VAT.

It is not always clean and the building is old and rusted

Dinners and lunches were lovely. Breakfast wasn't the best. Service was quite slow and took forever for anyone to come and take away our lunch plates when finished.

Location on the beach is beautiful. Very family friendly. This is our second time returning, prices have gone up understandably. Lunch and dinner is always amazing. Breakfast is acceptable. They had kayaks but we couldn’t use them
