Room was large and clean. Maid service was excellent. It was a short walk from the bus stop and the beach. Breakfast was adequate. I was given a room at the front of the hotel. Nice view, but man was it loud. The music from a nearby bar went on until 1 to 2 AM every night. That's not the hotel's fault, but if you want to go to sleep at normal hours, it might be a good idea to look elsewhere. If sleep is not your thing, then the hotel gets an 8 or a 9 rating.

Overall, the stay was good. The room was comfortable and the hotel was decent. On the last day, lift maintenance was done around 10 AM, forcing us to use the stairs multiple times and carry our luggage ourselves, which caused chaos during checkout. Room service was reluctant to provide tea, coffee, water and toiletries,we had to ask multiple times for these basic items.

Montree is my go-to hotel for staying in Phuket. Friendly and helpful staff, speak English well, and great value for your money. Highly recommend. Nothing. It is all very reasonable.

Location was great . 5 min walk from night market, 10 min drive to pier . Staff was amazing there is a welcome drink. We had three superior bed room so three beds. Overall a good place to stay in. Not noisy like in Patong. This was tight in the old city so quieter but everything was a stone throw away. They have laundry machine self service too . Also offer laundry. 3000 bht cash deposit. Air condition was noisy but not too bad .

My second stay at Montree Phuket! Right in the centre of old town, close to a 7-eleven and the night market, and can walk to lots of restaurants and coffee shops! Room was clean, water provided, and can use the hotels laundry service! Thank you - would stay again!
