What a lovely place to stay. It gives hostel vibes in terms of it's community space in the lobby with free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water melon, but with nice big hotel suits, with 2 rooms and en suit bathroom. Lovely decor, nice big clean rooms. Sam and his wife (the owners) might just be the nicest people on the planet! They held a community new years eve lunch for current and past guests, and even though I had to move to another hotel because unfortunately this place wasn't available my entire stay in Phuket, sam and his wife still allowed my to borrow beach towels, come for tea, etc - just lovely. 2 minute walk from Kata Beach and about a 15 minute walk from the world class (in my opinion) Kata Noi Beach. If you are traveling to anywhere near this area, do not stay anywhere else! Great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Nothing

My stay at Kata Bai D was superb. Upon checking in, I was greeted by Deng and she was delightful. The staff here really cares about your stay and will do everything they can to make it wonderful. I got upgraded to a huge suite and the location was simply perfect. You also get access to a ton of amenities. This place was amazing. My room was facing the street so there was s decent amount of noise. But the noise settles down after a while. There’s also no elevator, but I didn’t find it to be a huge issue.

The place is simple and impeclable clean. The staff are very helpfull and always with an smile. I got sick on my last day and they were extremely nice and helpful, even took me to the hospital in their own car. I strongly recommend the place.

The room was super clean, spacious, very light and comfortable. It had everything I needed during my stay (minibar, towels, hairdryer, water, shampoo, soap...). The location was very good, close to everything, but in a quieter area of Kata Beach. The best thing was the attention of the owner, Sam, and the staff, always attentive and helpful. Thanks for everything! Nothing

Wonderful stay, close to: Kata Beach (beautiful sandy beach with a very gentle descent into the sea), grocery stores, restaurants, bus 40 BHT/person starts here and goes to Phuket Old Town, you can get off anywhere. The room is comfortable and cleaned daily if you wish. You receive bottled water, toiletries, and fresh towels daily. In the common area, available 24/7: instant coffee, chocolate, tea, toast, butter, jam. Beach towels are available, with easy pick-up and return. Great atmosphere, very friendly lady at the reception. Thank you and best regards ❤️ The hotel is closed to the street, so you can hear the traffic. It was not a big deal for us?

Very good hotel, the room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. It is very close to the beach and you can walk there. Sam is very nice. Looking forward to the next vacation. I will choose this hotel again next time.

Ideally located within a 2 minute walk to the beach, excellent value for money, but it’s the small things that make this place so special. Like beach towels, beach umbrellas and beach straw mats that you can use at any time for free. It’s the umbrellas hanging on a hook for use if it’s raining. And the free coffee, toast, jam and freshly cut watermelon any time of the day. And the service and smiles are beyond compare. Thanks to Sam for all of his help for tours and suggestions, and a huge thanks to Dang for making me feel so welcome. I had to leave eventually!

We liked everything. Sam and his family are great hosts. Location is perfect closed to the beach, also to restaurants and night markets. Sam makes you feel like at home. We initially booked 2 nights and ended up staying 5.
