TSE Residence by Samui Emerald Condominiums

Well-maintained, very clean and well-appointed rooms and beautiful grounds. The location is just perfect for us, close to everything and yet quiet. We frequented the gym, although small and have limited weights (max 12KG). Mr. Tawan, Ms. JJ and the all the staff are wonderful and attentive. They make us feel like we are at home. The service is above-and-beyond from the time we arrive to departure. We are sad to leave. We will be staying at Samui Emerald when we return to Koh Samui next time.

Residence is nice but too close to a street and the door is not enough to stop the sounds from cars and scooters.. In addition the position is not the best in my opinion.

Some carpets and hallway walls show excessive wear.

We immediately received a warm welcome on arrival and seemless checkin. Loved our clean comfy apartment with balcony overlooking the pool. Kitchen facilities were basic, but okay for what we needed to prepare our breakfast as mostly had food out. There was a nice sized clean pool and spacious onsite gym (but not all equipment worked which needs maintenance and checking) plus the onsite washing machine was ideal. We stayed here closer to our departure date as venue was approx 15 minutes to the airport, especially great for early flights. Also hired a yellow e-scooter to get around (if you do hire them, not every drop off point has chargers, so you need to text company when you need battery renewed for them to advise you where to swap bikes. The Location is out of way so you do need your own transport. Also ideally located not far from Bophut Big Buddha. We would stay here again! There was aircon in our room, but leaked one morning so hopefully the system is well looked after and regularly maintained for guests. Also would be great if housekeeping cleared bins more regularly instead of only being serviced every 3 days.

Everything was good and clean, big rooms and nice pool. We booked an apartment with two rooms, kitchen and living room. The staff is helpful. You need a means of transportation. The location is far away, you need a motorbike or a car for transportation. But it is worth going there.

Great Apartment and also all amenities. -

The location was perfect for me, plenty of parking space. A 7-11, restaurants and a really good coffee place in walking distance.

Fantastic facilities and the apartments are nice and spacious. I loved the fact it had a little 24 hour gym. The location isn't great. It does have a seven eleven just across the road which is great but if you don't ride a moped, you have to get taxis everywhere.

The staff were super friendly and I felt safe there We had to move rooms 4 days in which we weren’t aware of prior to the trip and should’ve got a discount however staff were brilliant

Great location, nice sized condo apartment, lovely pool area. Cleaning only every 3 days so no fresh toiletries. No view of the beach or hills.

Tawan is friendly and welcoming. the apartments are close to the beach (v.quiet beach, not many people around, although not deep enough to swim but the most amazing sunsets!). great clean pool with loungers around. good gym. lovely apartment with equipped kitchen, good shower, comfy bed. nice sofa and tv area. good balcony. extended my stay because it felt so homely in the apartment! definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet holiday away from the touristy hustle! if you walk left towards big Buddha there’s a local market just past there. to the right of hotel is a nice little cafe called PK cafe. Stop@Sopa is a nice restaurant (across from the temple). laundry to the left out of hotel (just past massage place, 50bhat per kg). everything great! just a good walk to the nearest shops/swimming beaches etc and taxis are expensive! (just 7 Eleven nearby, a cafe and a couple of local restaurants - nice places though).

Almost everything It was very far away from civilization.

Staff - The owner was lovely and helpful. The staff also allowed us to keep our luggage in the room after checking out at no extra charge as there were no further guests. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for 300 BHT. Gym - The gym had good air con and was always quiet on an evening - it’s also open 24 hours and even has a set of weighing scales. Location - There was a 7/11 across the road and we were able to walk to Thongson beach in 20 minutes. There’s also a great cafe for coffee/iced coffee and smoothies a minute’s walk away called PK. Pool - we only used the pool once but it seemed to be nice and clean. We couldn’t work our microwave but that didn’t bother us. The pillows are quite big for those who need smaller ones (although we’ve found this at most places in Thailand). Nothing else to note, great value for money!
