Staff was super nice and friendly, especially Wave at the front desk. Breakfast was very good, pool was fabulous, large enough for swimming laps. Location of the hotel is phenomenal with great views. However, it’s not a beach for swimming; for that one has to walk a ways. The ceiling fan in our room didn’t work and couldn’t be repaired. We had a floor fan though, but not the same.

Friendly staff and good location

I like this place because it is quiet and yet not far from Lamai down town. The staff is very accommodating and very nice people. I suggest to rent a scooter to get anywhere. Palm Coco Mantra is in Lamai and it is a lot quieter and yet is close enough to all night markets in Lamai and Chaweng. You can rent the scooter for 200 baht, just let the staff know. I recommend this place. Just need to put a telephone in the room to call the front desk instead of getting out of your room to talk to the front desk.

We really enjoyed our ocean front room. Great view of sea and pool. Staff was so friendly Aoi at front desk so sweet always a big smile :), when my wife wanted to see a Doctor Bow was so caring and drove my family to Doctor in town who was also really nice and not expensive. Beautiful pool for swimming and hanging on beach. Can walk to Lamai , which we also really liked. Also rented scooter for day, very fun! Though wear helmet and drive safe. We really loved out stay!!! The only bad thing was checking out, since we were not ready to leave. We felt so comfortable and at home at this property. The Thai people are wonderful host. So friendly and sweet it just felt so right and real. Missing Palm Coco Mantra.

Nice beachfront resort, very well located. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was decent—not high-end, but there was always something to eat. The restaurant is waterfront with a lovely view and is open until 9 pm. We had dinner there twice; the food was surprisingly good, and since we were the only guests, it felt like a private, romantic dinner on the beach. The pool was nice as well, though not very large. An important note for beach lovers: the water at the hotel beach is very shallow (about knee-deep), so it is not suitable for swimming. This may be seasonal—we visited in early May when water levels were low across much of the island. However, one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, Silver Beach, is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel (or a short Grab ride) and is definitely worth visiting. Overall, a very pleasant stay. While comfortable, the rooms would benefit from some refurbishment.

Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, polite staff, and scenic views from the top-floor room. You can reach the town center on foot via the road or a lovely coastal route, but be prepared for some rock hopping and a bit of splashing! Housekeeping walked in an hour before my scheduled checkout, which was quite a surprise. On another note, the bathroom ventilation is pretty weak.

Nothing went exceptionally well. The majority of the staff was kind and considerate. The food was average. The Air Conditioning was terrible and we had to ask for an additional fan just to circulate the air in the room. The refridgerator broke in our room. The entire faciliaties, including the pool lounge chairs, the bathrooms, hotel rooms and facilities are all super dated and need updating.

This is a special find. Delightful people that offer impeccable service. The pool is lovely. The beach views are gorgeous. The rooms offer comfy beds and soft sheets. Free kayaks. Cool air conditioning. The beachside/poolside restaurant/bar offers yummy food and drinks that are reasonably priced. Nothing.

Private balcony and cleaning staff exceptional. Appreciate the card that reads; all belongings shall be removed every evening and to share the pool area with other guests. The pool closed at 8pm…maybe consider leaving it open till 10pm or even 9pm.

Palm Coco Mantra is absolutely stunning. The pool looks right over the beach just like in the photos. The staff was welcoming and very helpful with booking tours and transfers. I was on my own and booked a guide “Cho” to take me to the Secret Buddha garden and grandfather and grandmother rocks and Lamai beach and even a market to buy fruit. I loved my patio that overlooked the ocean. The resort is about a 35 min walk from Lamai Beach though there is a coffee shop called Shade about a 10 to 15 min walk. 7-11 is about that far also. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony and picturesque sea view. The hotel has a nice pool and the location is right at the beach. The staff were very friendly and let me leave my bag at the reception after checking out and provided me with a private room to take a shower before leaving. The breakfast was also generous with a variety of food. The beach is quite secluded, which is nice to relax, but there are not many bars/restaurants and cafés close by, while the closest bigger beach is a 30-minute walk away. The breakfast included filter coffee, but no espresso coffee.

The staff was super friendly, although the level of English understanding varied. The room has a great view from the balcony The room is small, the bathroom needs a refresh, the beach is tiny and water is shallow and rocky. There is not a lot of storage space in the room. The closest non-resort restaurant is 800m away. There are some mosquitoes in the evening

Being right on the beach was great, providing amazing views even if the water was rather shallow making swimming difficult. The pool, though, provided a great opportunity to swim and was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. The best part was definitely the staff, who were exceptionally nice and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Being a bit removed from the main Lamai area was nice, providing quietness and more seclusion but still conveniently located especially if you're OK with driving a motorbike or getting a Grab to go around. Would definitely stay here again. One minor thing is the room itself was starting to show its age. For example, there was what appeared to be some water damage spots in the bathroom. All the amazing positives of this place, though, definitely outweighed this very minor point.

The view from our balcony was amazing ! loved the pool area, beach , and great breakfast by the water. Most of all the reception staff were so helpful and pleasant. They went out of their way to assist in many ways. From sending out our laundry, organizing a scooter rental, dinner reservations and many other things they were so willing to assist!
