The location is great, near the beach. Price is competitive. Room is simple. I appreciated the bed was comfy and the airconditioning was good. Room was quiet. No bugs around, was good. Room is very simple, but for a 2 night stay was perfect. The big pro is the staff, the manager is very kind and helpful. Also helped me booking a scooter at night. Toilet shower curtain in my room needs replacing.

The hostess is very nice, the bed is comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked great, there were 2 bottles of cold water in the fridge, it was clean. Overall, it's a simple place and answered what I needed. Can't say about the location because I was only there for a short night. Those with heavy luggage should know that there is no elevator

We visited other hotels in Koh Samui, but Choengmon Residence really stands out - it felt more like home there. :) There is only a few people working there, but all of them are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they helped us with whatever we needed. The facilities have a small restaurant which has great and affordable food, as well as drinks. We're really happy to have stayed there, and would recommend to everyone!

Clean, rather large room, nice host. Comfy bed. Arranged pickup from the airport. Stayed only one night though as left on a ferry to another island next morning.

Big room with balcony and fridge. Good location, quiet area. Nice staff. Water/shower pressure was very weak.

The lady was very kind The location is also far from Chaweng beach, but very close to Choengmong beach Leading up to the room is not the best looking - first night was fine but second night my bed was full of ants which progressively increased through to the next day. Luckily, I only stayed two nights and it was a twin bed room so I could sleep on the other bed. There was no food so I'm not sure where the ants came from. The lady did say she was going to spray something.

Close to the beach. Nice quiet place for relaxing. Lots of restaurants just few minutes walk distance. Nice host ready to help. 10 15 minutes drive from the Chaweng beach and bars.

friendly people cheap food at restaurant I understand it’s a residence, but maybe I could put a sign or they could ask if I I would like room swept with new sheets and trash taken out? if over a certain amount of time

Great residence off the road just a few mins walking to the main spots of Choengmon and the beach. First I had a few issues but the owner was very attentive to fix everything we asked for. One of the best things was the food they serve downstairs. Honest and affordable Thai food just they way we want it. This is a big bonus and we eat there once or twice a day. What else we liked: - Covered parking for my car. This is hard to find in Samui so I was very happy to have my car away from the sun - The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. That's pretty much what makes this place special - The view from the balcony facing the palms and hills is amazing - Location is very good and Choengmon the best place to live longer in Samui The rooms get very hot in the day and the AC units are small and old. But after the AC was cleaned due to our request, the room was cool enough at night.

From the start every body was very friendly and helpful,my room was fantastic and the view from my balcony adorable , when it came to breakfast and dinner many choices on the menu,y yum the food and so so affordable.
