At Samui Boutique Hotel

There was a very weird fight at 3 am. Screaming for a long time. When i asked the next morning what happened the staff did not have an answer and it made us very uncomfortable.

The attitude of staff is repelling. I purposely booked a room that was a bit more expensive to get a room with a balcony and a table, as I came for two weeks and knew I would appreciate it for such a long stay. After checkin I gave the benefit of the doubt and checked the details, I did indeed book a more expensive room. When I addressed that to reception they initially did admit I booked a different room category, but it was occupied and they could move me in 2 days maybe. No apology, no nothing to make up for the mistake. The next day when I was passing to reception, I saw that many guests checked out and a few rooms were open ready to clean, so I asked again if I can maybe move sooner, the reception attendant practically said I can bugger off and if I cause any more problems, they will call the police and if I am not happy, I can leave. Later that day I tried again to talk nicely , but no luck, I also am not interested in refund “mayve one day” that they promised to other customers in previous reviews. So I called tourist police and addressed the situation, I got the refund on the remaining 12 nights straight away and left the hotel. Honestly, with such threats and attitude besides everything else, I just didn’t feel safe staying there and definitely was not interested in seeing that administrator when I was trying to enjoy my time off. I didn’t expect a castle for the price I paid , my expectations were very realistic. But treating your guests at least with enough respect, if not care, doesn’t cost you any extra to supply. Sincere apology would probably do it for me. I would say, okay, whatever, it happens. I ended up booking a lovely property just 500 meters away with direct access to the beach with lots of greenery and, honestly, couldn’t be happier.

Unfortunatelly, the only "Boutique" in that hotel is the name. The rooms are small. The staff is taking a depostit for the key but not returning it. The shower is above the toilet and it is not very convinient.

Location is good It wasn’t very clean and the bathroom needs updating

Location was spot on! The view from balcony wasn’t great. No kettle or cups when we first arrived but it was sorted after we found the guy running the show.

Great place to stay ,very near chaweng beach lots of places to eat, party around. The staff is very helpful as well.

The location is great. It is very close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel is a very short walk to Samui Central a big shopping center that also includes a big Tops supermarket. As you walk out turn left and go through AL's resort and you are on Chaweng beach. So as for location 10/10. I stayed here twice because of price and location . It would be nice to have swimming pool but the beach is a short walk away so it's ok.

A small room with all the basics that you need. Great location, right in the centre. Room was the smallest we’ve been in for a while but it’s fine if it’s just a short stay. Can get a little noisy out on the street but it didn’t bother us too much.

Location was great.The room Was quiet couldn’t hear noise outside on the busy room The room wasn’t very clean. provided a kettle,however no teas and coffees supplied.

location was wonderful & the room was good ! staff super friendly as well ! bathroom door didn’t close & some of the facilities offered on booking.com (laundry/moped hire/taxi booking) aren’t actually available which was a shame

Great hotel, nice staff and good location Only problem was the balcony door didn't lock.... But I notice in a few hotels, if you stay for 1 night you do get the lesser rooms.

Very centrally located but can be quite noisy as you’re in the center of Chaweng and my room was facing the Main Street. The staff were very friendly but I didn’t have anyone to help with bags and there’s no lift. I noticed the following day there was a guy in the reception who was helping other travellers with their bags but he wasn’t around when I checked in.

Location was good although very noisy as my room was on the roadside. A lot… It was very loud, walls are thin and can hear all the way down the corridor people walking etc. The room was very basic for the price paid. I actually left the hotel early as the roof started leaking when it rained (photo included to show leak). I was told my credit card would be partially refunded although I am still waiting for the refund a month later, and the hotel have stopped responding to my messages.
