The bungalows were so sweet… comfortable, well maintained, and clean. The bed was amazing, the shower was nice, the views beautiful.

We stayed at Tembo Beach Club & Resort for four nights and the location was excellent. There were plenty of places to eat both along the beach and on the street behind, which made it really easy for meals. The beach itself was lovely and calm, perfect for swimming, and we found ourselves in the water every day. Having free access to the beach club was also a great bonus and made the stay feel a bit more special. The bed was quite hard, which made it difficult to get comfortable over a few nights. After four nights, this did impact our overall experience and is probably the main reason we wouldn’t choose to stay again.

I liked everything about this hotel. The staff was great. My bungalow was really nice, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Large room and huge bathroom. The pool, restaurant, and bar are all right on the beach and very nice. The hotel is right on the main road through that area and is surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. Nothing

We absolutely loved everything about our one-night stay at Tembo Hotel on Koh Samui. We were just passing through on our way to Koh Phangan, but it turned out to be one a favorite. The hotel arranged a late-night airport pickup, and our driver was fantastic—he even took us to the ferry the next day. The property is gorgeous, with beautiful design details and a relaxed, stylish vibe right on the beach. The staff were super friendly and super helpful, the cocktails were great, and breakfast was delicious. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we loved that there was a wonderful massage spot just down the road called Ning’s that the staff recommended. The beach was spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of loungers and places to hang out. For the price, this hotel is an absolute gem and feels like incredible value. Tembo has a boutique luxury feel without the pretentiousness or price tag. If you want true comfort, great service, and a beautiful beachfront setting, this is the place. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! If I had to mention one tiny suggestion, it would be that it would’ve been nice to have a couple of luggage stands for our roller bags—just to keep things a bit tidier. But that’s truly a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay.

They asked us to use the public bathroom because they have issues with the in-room bathroom water pressure and indeed we weren’t able to even have a shower in our bathroom. Swimming pool is full of hair and dead insects.

The staff were so welcoming, the little bungalow we stayed in was decorated beautifully, and it was well located near the airport and Big Buddha. We wanted somewhere near the port as we were only staying one night before heading to Koh Phangan. We had some delicious chicken skewers and iced coffee before leaving. It was a perfect stay! Thank you. Nothing.
