Set amid river pools and tropical gardens, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa features a golf course, 7 restaurants and a spa. Each guest room includes a private balcony. A marble private bathroom features double vanities, bathrobes and free toiletries. A championship 18-hole golf course and pro shop, 3 tennis courts and pro shop, water sports center with equipment rental and horse stables are all located on site. Stayed here for our honeymoon and can literally say it was the best! The other location we thought about was hotel #1. I would say this location was perfect probably the pretty resort on the island in our opinion. It was huge right on the beach and in the perfect location to travel to all sides of the island for fun. The pool and resort amenities, restaurants were amazing. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of people there but did not feel over crowded at all. Very quiet and relaxing! Great stay.

The facility is very well maintained and the staff was very nice. We loved that they had free laundry units available to all guests and provided detergent. There were water stations throughout the facility. The gym was also very clean and new. Our family loved that the pools were open 24 hours. We would definitely come back again.

Great layout. Fun for kids Run down tired resort. Overpriced mediocre food. Staff is non existent. Pools need more shade options so people don’t have to wake up at 6 to stake claim to the umbrellas

The property is long like a cruise ship. Depending on the location of your room and your mobility situation, location of your room can adversely affect your stay. Recommend double checking location of room in relation to lobby. Certain weather conditions apparently can attract bugs. Printed recommendations in room are to leave both slider and screen closed. Pavement and walkways are slippery when wet. Grab n go food in lobby coffee shop was unacceptable in quality. Beautiful location and views.
