Marathon Hotel - All Inclusive

Restaurant, Food, Service 1. No phone in the room to call the front desk. 2. Few recommendations on where to go, it would have been nice to get more detailed information at reception. 3. The playground requires repair: it is impossible to ride on the crusts, swings with fasteners, some parts of the playground are broken

The water in the pool was very cold, probably because of the time of year(october)

I booked this trip as a gift to my parents in law. In general they werent so happy with the hotel.The food was very nice and they liked it a lot. They gave to them a room which it was not nice at all, very small and not clean, they didn't want mention anything at the moment because it was a gift but later they told us that they informed thw housekeeping which wasnt willing to do anything about it. Unfortunately they didn't go to the reception to complain and later they even found cockroaches! It's a pity because the overall experience was not bad based on the price. The management is obviously lacking in professionalism.

Lots of food options throughout the day. Good pizza and gyros bars in addition to the regular buffet meals. All inclusive bar includes alcohol and ice cream, the cocktails in the evening are a delightful treat. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you might need anything. Specially thanks to Agnieszka, Mark and Claudia. The beach is lovely and only 6 minutes walk with a baby stroller. Nice outdoor playground for kids for chilly times of the day, otherwise its too hot. Evening activities and the pool gym are a hit. Soap and shampoo could be of a better quality. Finding activities for little a baby during the hot summer days is challenging. Would be nice to have some indoor play areas for keeping the little ones busy.

Extremely clean (they come and make your room every single morning, maximum up to 12:00, fresh sheets and towels). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. All meals (including the pizza bar) have a nice variety and always pretty tasty: drinks at the bar available all day, pizza for most of the day such as ice cream…at night, up to 24:00, you have a gyros stand, amazing! 10 min away by feet from the nearest beach but you can easily enjoy and discover the other ones by renting a small scooter (about 20/30€ a day). Lots of souvenirs shops, restaurants (in case you did not select “all inclusive”), car rentals and even a supermarket right next to the hotel Even though it is clearly marked as FORBIDDEN, people tend to “reserve” sunbeds: they go and leave their towel on and go either for lunch or breakfast…that is quite a lack of respect, but nothing related to the hotel.

Two most important thing for me were food and comfortable bed, food is very good, fresh tasty, always varies, except breakfast but that's expected, many dishes to choose from. Beds are very comfortable, got wine, fruits and decoration as a welcome gift, super nice. Talking about the rooms, it's good, nothing to complain, but for picky people might be an issue, they are pritty old, and some might have old TV ect. (But really just normal rooms!) People working there is very very well balanced, friendly but not too much that it's start annoying you. There is also very good car rental around the corner called "car rent", very affordable prices compared to others. Overall, hotel is really good, and would come back again. Recommended. All good.

Loud music every night till 23 so even with closed windows we couldn't really relax in our room. Barely working AC. Most of the food wasn't very good, all meats and fish extremely overcooked. Would prefer smaller selection but higher quality. Drinks at the bar are quite awful but I guess that's to be expected at this price.

The staff were super polite but the manager was rude and non responsive to customers. Pools were dirty, towels had yellow stains, room area smelt like sewage, no food variety and tasteless, all inclusive had limitations, ants in the room, no shampoo or even cups in room to drink water. Only snack was Pizza ? all day.

We came for only three nights, but we wish we could stay for three weeks. Marathon hotel is full of relaxation and fun. The staff is very warm and helpful, the food is great and the pools are clean. Perfect stay! ❤️

I had an amazing holiday at Marathon hotel , definitely I will be back, the managers are so caring loving people, the staff are very hard worker , the food was amazing, I had enjoy everything and I recommend!! the guys who works at the bar are so lovely and I will miss everyone that I met there, the food was very tasty and varieted , the housekeeper team are incredible. Receptionists also are very communicative and helpful. thank you guys for everything ❤️ will miss your all . I'm not gonna say I didn't like but I will sujest that the band that play songs at the hotel should play more old songs like dancing queen , as a far I could see there's more enjoyment when 80s songs are playing .

This is an excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The Manager of the hotel is fantastic. The restaurant has a great selection of food to suit every taste. Rooms are very clean. Hotel is in perfect location for beach, shops and restaurants. I can confidently recommend this hotel. Big thank to the hotel staff and manager.

Good hotel with center of the village. Choice of 3 beaches near be. Nice, friendly and polite stuff especially Ms Agnieszka. Good volume of money. Small pool and not enough sun-beds for everyone. After few days food become very monotonous.

We felt at home thanks to the manager and hotel staff. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, just a little bit small. Food was very tasty, variable and it was always enough for everyone. The pool was nice and the sea was around 10 minutes walk. The location of the hotel was very good - in the center. To sum up, we were very satisfied. We got what we needed - relax with good food and a friendly atmosphere. Aerobic in the pool was funny but it was every day the same. It would be nice to have different music at least for example. The music in the pool area was a little bit loud in general. There is one thing that I would like to mention but it is not about the hotel. On the nearest beach the umbrella with sunbeds cost 15euro/day. The price would be ok if they took care of the beach better - clean it and build more showers (at least for feet).
