Was happy to get the room as requested for us and my other friends. Aree Tara exceeded our expectations throughout.
-
Amazing hotel in a really central location. everything is on the doorstep. Pool is amazing and so was pool room - worth the extra Mango smoothies from the pool bar a must N/A

Nice pool good restaurant good staff clean rooms soft beds
-
Very clean hotel with a nice pool. Walking distance to market and main shops & restaurants.
-
Excellent and friendly staff, location couldn’t have been better. Pool was excellent. They accomodated my food allergies and made a dish I could eat. Our room was a twin and the second bed did not have either a night table nor a plug to charge my electronics.

Everything was perfect room staff location

We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the jungle area behind hotel. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting on the patio. There are many restaurants near by and it is a quick 10 min walk to Ao Nang beach to watch the sunset and fire show. The resort has towels available for checkout to take to the beach or on tours. The breakfast is good with lots of options.

The room size is generous, and there is a door between 2 rooms if you are a family, which is very practical ! The room have a view onto a quiet forest which is nice. The bathroom is nice with both a shower and and bathtub. Water pressure is good. TV is nice with some channels for kids. Beds are good. Location is nice though a little bit far from the beach. Staff is friendly. The shower door does not correctly closes, and thus a lot of water gets into the bathroom. Buffet is not included, and is a little bit expensive for what it is.

I liked the room size a lot and I enjoyed the proximity to the beach and other activities The outlets are only on one side of the bed

It was a very nice hotel. Staff was kind and sweet. Food was good, great portions for a pool-side menu. We arrived earlier and we had a place to lesve our luggage and were able to use the pool. Since the pool is medium size, they should enforce the no jumping in the pool - not just put papers. It was sometimes hard to relax because of the group of kids doing major bombs in the pool. I don’t mind kids playing but maybe just address the situation or remove the papers saying it’s prohibited so we know that it’s not a place to relax! Pool is very slipery too in the entry. (Only comment - it was amazing)

We loved the welcoming and helpful staff, the comfortable room, and the balcony with a relaxing green view. The location is convenient, close to Ao Nang Beach, restaurants, and shops. Nothing significant

Breakfast was good, close to activities etc Bathrooms were unclean, the bed was really hard to sleep on, some smell of mold. The staff could be more welcoming.

Towels for the beach Room service Balcony to garden The hotel is rated on booking.com as 4 stars, but rather deserves 3 stars in my opinion. They claimed to have a last minute price reduction from 300EUR/night to 100EUR/night, but when we arrived it turned out to be rather a 70-80EUR/night value. Also we both got sick during our stay here and although we cannot be sure we have some indication that it was from the breakfast in the hotel. This is not reflected in my rating though, as I cannot be sure. Our room smelled like mold and you could see some water damage on the ceiling. The hot water turned cold after 2 minutes of showering each time. The AC in our room first didn't work but was fixed the same day. There are a total of 2 usable power outlets in the room. Only one next to the bed.

Nothing I was given the worse room in the hotel, ground floor facing a wall,it was dirty and the shower leaked all over the floor. The staff were unhelpful and said room was not refundable, this is at best a 2 star hotel ,avoid

Very good hotel, centrally located yet very calm. The rooms were clean and big. The pool is perfect for a quick plunge. What we loved most about the hotel is the breakfast because there is a lot of choice. All employees were friendly, from housekeeping to people working in the restaurant and front desk.
-
Staff friendly and helpful. Room of average size but very clean and comfortable. Direct access from the room with private steps directly into the pool was unique. No kids so the pool was quiet. AC great and necessary. Breakfast very good but as in all such establishments repetitive. Check out was at noon which was great but my flight was at 8:30pm and there was a hefty fee for the extra 4 hours they gave me and they were not negotiable. I thought considering I was there 5 nights they could have been more accommodating. The lobby and front entrance of the hotel is directly on the street so it's not a very private or restful spot. I think that is what really makes this a 3 vs 4 star hotel. So despite booking.com giving it a good overall number it has some poor aspects. To me more than a minor nuisance were the Indian restaurant owners hawking their establishments which was so bothersome every time you went out. So the busy location really should be considered before booking if that is of concern to you.

Perfectly located in Ao Nang. The hotel is clean, relaxing and has a good breakfast spread.
-
It was clean, conveniently located to cafes, shops and nearby markets. It resort itself was clean relaxing and had wonderful breakfast.

Great location, cleanliness, breakfast, and facilities. Nothing

A nice hotel close to all the amenities of Ao Nang. Within walking distance of the Ao Nang Night Market and beach, and only a few moments walk to the pier where you catch the boat to Railay Beach. Hotel was nice, clean and the staff were all very helpful. The balcony overlooked an untouched piece of land and the sounds of the frogs and birds at night were magical. The pool looked nice (we didn't actually end up using it), breakfast had some good options and it was great to be able to borrow umbrellas from reception for all of the rain! There was a really intense smell of synthetic air fresheners when we checked in to the room which thankfully subsided after a day.
