The staff was excellent and accommodated a special request I made. It helped make my wife's birthday getaway a very memorable one. Thank you!

The location and the pool No sound proofing in the rooms you can hear everything. Hotel seems very old with very old furniture. Breakfast area is very small. Lobby area used to be a beautiful outdoor space. Now its a very small indoor office like area.

Thank you for the beautiful location, warm hospitality, and amazing staff No thing

The view from the pool. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Great location. The hotel is outdated. Should not be rated as 4 stars. Lots of stairs, complex navigation in the property.

I liked when the pool wasn’t full and the lights in my room were not turning off and on to their own whims. I didn’t like how I was greeted by staff. I didn’t like they pretended to struggle with English only to be fluent at other times. I didn’t like that it’s basically necessity to use their car service to get to/from the room. It takes time and isn’t efficient, especially when they are overwhelmed at critical times like check in/out, dinner, etc. I don’t like how disjointed the breakfast seemed. Breakfast was a free for all and staff just seemed to be keeping their head above water. My primary frustration is their rudeness when it came to communication. There are many ways to communicate without a common spoken language yet this crew seemed to not care. Documents, signage and tools to help not only English but many other international languages would be helpful. Did I mention the lights turned on and off throughout the night without rhyme or reason? In all, the hotel seemed to have bad mojo

The two amazing pools, the service, all the drink specials, and the super friendly and helpful staff. Oh, and the bed and pillows were fantastic! The Thai food was outstanding, obviously prepared with care and still. However ... ... Western food was a bit weak. At breakfast, my ham and cheese omelet had the TINIEST pieces of ham, I could barely see them! A sign near the bacon said it was pork bacon, but I don't think that was so, probably to cater to Muslim guests. Which is fine, but just call it beef bacon, or whatever that was. Lastly, the patty Lovely as your guest rooms are, they're far too dark! Need at least two bright ceiling or floor lights.

Our family of five had both a family suite and a pool villa. The property was central in Ao Nang and walkable to the beach, but beyond their gates, felt like a secluded and quiet resort. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the comfort of the beds and bedding and slept very well. The buffet breakfasts were abundant and delicious. The pool was stunning and very relaxing. N/A

Staff was friendly, the location was excellent, but the hotel is a bit more run down and the rooms don’t necessarily look like the photos. Older Needs to be maintained Better quality in towels, lounge chairs, etc

The location is great, just in the middle of everything. No to close to noisy bars, but in the middle of the busy street with markets, massage places, exchange, laundry services and the biggest advantage is 5-7 min walking distance from the departure point to island tours. On our first day after getting back from the beach we had massive Ac leakage on the floor, but the maintenance arrived immediately and fixed, cleaned everything. We appreciate that, but better to check the facilities a bit in advance, specially during hot season. We have booked originally Avani Room type, upon arrival we were “upgraded” as per the receptionist to Superior room. However the “upgraded” room was just next to the area with all generators and hoods, while we came to relax and breathe fresh air. Impossible to stay on the balcony or open it because of that noise. We could even feel the heat coming from it. Also the room was humid and smelled with mold a bit. While I approached the reception they didn’t seem to have our originally booked room type and no better alternative either, so we end up just paying more for the proper upgrade. It upsets me a bit, even though I mentioned that we had to cancel the trip earlier because of the tension situation in Middle East, and that we finally still made it. No other options of accommodation were offered, until I just end up paying more. Just reception needs to make sure when the offer “upgrade” the room doesn’t end up worse than the original booking type.

Do not book the regular superior room if you plan on sleeping. It faces the street, which has loud bars, people and cars until late in the morning. I’m sure the rooms further away from the street were fine. We did not sleep for 2 days.

It was beautiful. Loved the pool. It was a great location too, Nothing

The most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in my entire life
-
Great location in Aonang. Excellent breakfast choices. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Single lifts in all buildings which cause frustrating delays when the hotel is busy. Our "sea" view room ($$$) was more "tree" view than "sea" view.

Location Run down. Mosquitoes in the room.

We had a good stay at Avani and I highly recommend. We ended up requesting to be moved to another room because I couldn’t sleep and they were able to accommodate this the 2nd night. They told us to pack up all our stuff and leave it in the room. When we got back, they had moved all of our belongings and everything in the fridge as well! Breakfast was included every morning and it was decent. There is a fresh egg station and then the standard breakfast options. The last day, there was a huge line to get into breakfast so I’m not sure what that was about but the other 2 mornings were fine. We booked a room that was in the first building on the 2nd floor, not realizing this was basically on the street and that the street was VERY loud with motorcycles/cars/bars/music all night long. It’s great for location but not great for sleeping. The infinity pool does not have a lot of chairs and filled up very quickly. Lots of people putting towels to hold chairs which I despise.

Its location to town centre The hotel layout. It concises of three buildings built on a hill . If you are in the lower block you have to clime 2 lots of stairs to the second block , go to the 3rd floor walk to the third block , go up in the lift 2 floors to get the breakfast room .
