Hotel Teatr

We stayed at Hotel Teatr for five nights in August in a deluxe room and had a genuinely brilliant experience. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the room itself was modern, comfortable, and well‑equipped — great air‑conditioning, a powerful shower, and everything kept beautifully clean each day. The staff were genuinely lovely, from the reception team who were always welcoming and helpful, to the cleaning staff who kept the room immaculate and greeted us with a smile. We booked room‑only and explored different breakfast spots nearby, which worked perfectly given the location. It’s very central but just outside the main tourist zones, so you can escape the busy crowds while still being close to everything. You can easily walk to the starting points for major tours like Auschwitz and the Wieliczka Salt Mine, and there’s a tram line about four minutes away for getting around the city. Overall, a comfortable, friendly, and well‑located hotel — I’d happily recommend it. Nothing of note, maybe some more about the history of the building or location it is in.

Beautiful property. Very comfortable room with lovely view. Excellent bathroom and facilities. In an ideal location for everything - lovely to walk back to. Delicious pancakes at breakfast!

Very cosy hotel in the old city, but not on busy and crowded street. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked without issues. Staff were pleasant and friendly. WiFi didn’t work in my room - worked in other places in the hotel

Excellent hotel in every aspect. Modern, very comfortable, clean. Nice and tasty breakfast, accommodating staff. Perfect location: within 5-15 min walk from all major sights, the castle, railway station and a central shopping mall. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The hotel's high ratings and review scores are completely justified. We'll be happy to return. Nothing. All was great.

Beautiful hotel. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The luxury touches like a coffee machine, L'Occitane products, air con and mini bar were appreciated. It's in a great location, a few minutes' walk from the train station, tram and the old town squares. Small things - it would have been good to have a selection of teas in the tea box like black tea and mint. There was just raspberry tea. The room got very warm overnight, so we had to keep the air con on overnight. Although the TV is a smart TV, streaming didn't work

- The location is unbeatable: in the center of the city, yet on a very quiet street; - The staff is very welcoming, polite and attentive; - The breakfast is full of choices, both savory snd sweet snd they have good coffee; - The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious; - Availability of coffee machine and coffee capsules in the room; - Welcome drink upon arrival. - The bathroom is lacking a shelf in the shower, so no option to store personal amenities in the shower area; - There are 2 sets of pillows, but there is not difference between them - both of them are quite hard. Usually, there are available pillows with very different levels of softness to please all tastes;we have asked for a different pillow but there was none.

This is a beautiful renovated hotel. Centrally located yet quiet.
