I love going back to stay at Greg and Tom's. Amazing staff like Ania and Christian working there. Free breakfast and dinner was so good, and it's really easy to meet people. It was great , nothing I didn't like.

Having the breakfast and dinner option available at the hostel was very helpful as I found myself often busy doing tours and sightseeing. Which left me quite exhausted in the evening, so having a reliable place to have dinner was ideal and the same goes for the breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and the staff were super friendly, which made my very first solo travel trip that much more amazing. I definitely will return again, as it's located pretty much in the middle of town. So it made it really easy to go to visit many sites around the main square without it being too far from the hostel. I cannot think of anything that I didn't like or felt badly about, as everything felt perfect for someone that's never done a solo travel before. I think the only thing I can think of, and this is a small thing, is some souvenirs. I wished I had a key chain or a bracelet that showed I stayed at this hostel. Something physical to remember the hostel by, again, this is a small thing and the only thing I could think of. Everything else was absolutely golden.

I think it's a steal. One of the best hostel experiences for me as a solo traveller, that's for sure. The pricing is quite reasonable, and the breakfast and dinner is pretty good, something you won't find very often in this price range. The pub crawl is quite fun as well. The only issue I faced was that on my floor, there is only one toilet and shower for 24+ people. You technically can go to the other side if they are occupied but that felt a bit inconvenient.

Location I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. The first thing I noticed when I entered was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout the property. The common area is underground, quite cramped, and also had a noticeable smell. The food didn’t look very fresh, and I heard other guests complain that it had upset their stomachs. The stay was particularly uncomfortable because of the summer heat. It was around 36°C outside, and our 8-bed dorm had just one small table fan, which barely provided any airflow, especially to the upper beds. The room itself was very small, with poor ventilation, and there was only one toilet and shower shared between 20+ people. There was also a strong smell from someone/their shoes in my dorm, and combined with the heat, sweat, and lack of ventilation, it was extremely difficult to sleep. I mentioned this to reception, but unfortunately nothing could be done. I was also disappointed with the common area. It was so cramped that I rarely saw people spending time there apart from during breakfast and dinner, so it didn’t really have the social atmosphere I would expect from a hostel. Finally, on the morning of checkout, the cleaning lady came into the room before the 10am checkout time and repeatedly asked when I was leaving. While I was packing, her expressions and behaviour made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her, despite still being within the checkout time. I would not stay here again.

I like more on the location because it's around the city, old town, malls, trams and buses. The food is very good as well. As a guest and my experience to the other hostel, the improvement I suggest is to improve the room odor. And the rest good.

Dinner is so yummy, a great addition! Easy walkable location, friendly staff. Bathroom cleaned regularly. Linen isn’t the nicest and wasn’t expecting to be staying somewhere different to pictured (adjacent building). There is a fan but the window only cracks open so the room always smelt of shoes :/
