The food selection for breakfast was good. The location is also great, right by the river. The bathroom was unclean. The tub mat has mold but housekeeping never bothered changing it. There were no face towels or hand towels. When housekeeping takes away towels, they repeatedly fail to replace them.

Great pool and I had nice views of the river and the Legislative Building. Everyone on staff was really nice…hotel was very clean. My room was a bit sparse of furniture with no chaise or comfortable chair. There was a desk and chair and space for another nice chair and end table…but otherwise I had a good stay here! It had a nice bar/lounge that was popular.

Staff were all really friendly, pool was large, and restaurant had good food. Comfy bed, fluffy towels…and very clean. Plus it was an easy walk to the main bazaar and other restaurants. I’m glad I had a river view! Carpet needs cleaning. It had a lot of spots!

The good thing about the hotel, it is facing the river. You can run or walk along the river. THe location is walking distance to many eateries. It is an old hotel. The price is on the high side, the service is average. Bellman will stand there and look at you carrying your luggage up and down the staircase from the car. The breakfast is bad. there were houseflies. Some of the fruits also surrounded by food flies. The option is very limiting. IT is definitely worth the money you paid for.

Breakfast was good specially the laksa Sarawak. But in future maybe can provide lontong or Penang with rendang or serunding daging .. thats make our day very good. Clean & calm & staff friendly.

Clean & comfortable room, and served variety of food for breakfast! The TV also offered a lot of channel and free movies to watch. Parking is not easy to get. There’s a multi-storey parking lot besides the hotel but, it’s quite a distance to walk from the entrance.

I had spent most of the week before in the hospital with Dengue Fever. Great hospital nearby. So although we had a lot planned, we didn’t do as much as we wanted. We slept, went down for breakfast, and used room service. Later in the week we did a few fun activities: a private tour, cruise, walk along the river and some local night markets. It was a perfect place to heal. The food was not consistent from room service. We never knew how much food we would get and the quality of preparation. There was this amazing cook in the restaurant but then it seemed like different people made the room service meals and food went from a nice size portion to a side portion. Our guess was that maybe the staff was in training.

Location, breakfast, and the dining room manager with glasses… I forgot her name. We arrived very late due to issues with airlines not flying due to the volcano exploding in Indonesia. We were lucky to have made this flight! But we arrived very late and were very hungry. The lady stayed open just for us so we could eat. I will never forget how grateful I will always be to her and her staff! Thank you.
