Puteri Wing, Riverside Majestic Hotel

Comfy room in a good location in town. Some of the staff were helpful (especially an older guy on the door when I arrived) and others were pointless (several of the younger guys on the door only moved their bums to open the door when you were almost inside anyway). Weird place if you want a drink as you have to walk outside, go down a ramp and round the corner then enter another building. I ordered room service and the food was only warm so maybe it travels the same long route.

The parking attendant was very attentive to my father's condition and mobility limitations due to his age. He kindly arranged a parking spot directly in front of the lobby, which made our arrival much more convenient and comfortable. During our stay, we needed to validate our parking ticket at the front desk before heading out for dinner. After waiting for the staff to finish assisting another guest, I approached the counter and requested parking validation. While the request was eventually handled, the interaction felt rather cold, and the staff's demeanor came across as unwelcoming. A more friendly and attentive approach would have enhanced the guest experience. On our third day of stay, our room was not serviced despite requesting housekeeping earlier in the day. We followed up again at around 4:00 PM when we saw staff nearby, but no service was provided by 6:00 PM. At around 8:00 PM, a housekeeper arrived and apologized, explaining he was managing the workload alone.

great location! included breakfast has very little for vegetarians: would have liked eggs as well and no meat in pasta dishes; better pastries and while wheat bread.

Friendly staffs, cleanliness and other fascilities match my need.The hotel very near to the Kuching Waterfront and souveniors shops.At least there is something I can do to spend my stay there. The constructions in the building make the hotel less attractive.

The soap holder in the shower room is a bit dirty, it spoils the whole room cleanliness.

The hotel was recently refurbished and the rooms were therefore filled with new furniture and decor. I stayed here 3 years ago and felt it was very dated but this time round, I was very impressed with how fresh and new the rooms were. It came with a huge TV but the best part was the bed and pillows, which were extremely comfortable. I slept execellently. The wifi was patchy in the room and the shower did not have a curtain so water could splash out slightly.

The room was very comfortable with ample cupboard and drawer space. My room, on the 11th floor, had a view of the river, albeit viewed between other buildings. The hotel is ideally located to access Chinatown, the riverfront and with a bit more effort the Borneo Cultural Museum and Fort Margherita. Breakfast. As a non-meat eater the options were severely limited.

Very beautiful room, and very clean.

The breakfast was great. They provide local food and western breakfast. The sheets on the bed are not clean. We asked them to change into clean ones but because we checked in late night and there’s no clean sheets left in the hotel. But tomorrow morning they changed the clean sheets for us but still have a few stains.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully designed, princess-like hotel during a work trip—and it was an absolute gem. From the elegant interior that makes you feel like royalty, to the warm and welcoming staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, everything was spot on. The breakfast was a delight—plenty of variety, fresh options, and beautifully presented. The location is another big plus: right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around for meetings and explore a little in between. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure. It strikes the perfect balance between charm, convenience, and comfort. The only downside was receiving a robe with a visible stain, which was a bit disappointing given the overall high standards of the hotel. However, everything else more than made up for it.

Great location, great stuff, great vibe! Although there are few tourists in the town, all facilities in the hotel are functional, and the staff will help with any issue or request!
