About Boutique Hotel im Auracher Löchl

Renovated in 2016, the 4-star Boutique Hotel im Auracher Löchl is located on the Inn River in the heart of Kufstein, a 5-minute walk from the train station and the fortress. The restaurant dates from 1428 and serves traditional Tyrolean cuisine, as well as fine steaks. The Guinness Book of World Records lists the hotel bar Stollen 1930 as the world’s largest gin bar. The property is also currently in the running for another world record listing, with the smallest bridge restaurant in the world - a tiny dining area for 2 people above the Old Town, on a bridge connecting the hotel and the restaurant. The individually furnished rooms feature Tyrolean wooden furniture, fine fabrics, box spring beds, free high-speed WiFi, and modern bathrooms. They are decorated with souvenirs from all over the world. The Wilder Kaiser-Brixental Ski Area is a 20-minute drive away and can also be reached with a free ski bus.

Everything. Rooms were cozy, breakfast was tasty and employees were great. I liked everything

Everything! The location was perfect and the hotel was a wonderful blend of historic ambiance and modern amenities. The reception staff was friendly and really helpful. Also, we were greeted at the reception by the very loving Saco - the cutest dog ever who took his responsibilities very seriously. We had a delicious dinner at the attached restaurant, and enjoyed a great breakfast with lots of variety.

If your plans don’t include visiting bars, you may find the stay less comfortable. In our experience, there was continuous noise: from around 3:30 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. from the skybar above, and afterward from a nearby bar, which could be heard until around 5:00 a.m. There were also some ants in the room. This was less significant than the noise issue, but still unpleasant. The staff offered us a different room. However, that room was located closer to the bar that operates until around 5:00 a.m., so it did not resolve the noise concern.

Location was very close to the old town and castle. And it was a very cute old street. The street cleaner was very noisy and came around every morning at around 7 am

Location (on the river, in town, short walk from train station), nicely designed room, friendly staff - especially at the restaurant. No air conditioning, baked goods at breakfast needs improvement (stale- every morning), bacon undercooked and fatty.

Proximity, the restaurant food omgggg delicious, the GIN speakeasy across the street definitely a hidden gem part of the hotel. A must see must visit, Stay was to short

Nice hotel offering all the comfort you want. Nice room, superb view over the river, in the middle of the center of Kufstein. Good food and wine in the restaurant and nice breakfast. Good service. The remote control of the shower toilet was missing and therefore not usable as bidet. Reception was not able to provide us with a remote control. Lightning in room via remote control a bit complicated.

We have stayed here before en route to go skiing further into the alps and this hotel is the start of the holiday for us . We enjoyed the restaurant attatched to the hotel who where very accommodating re our arrival time and the gin bar . Our room was comfortable with a view of the river inn. We will return if in the area . There was nothing that spoilt our short overnight

Great stay at this hotel. Rooms are a comfortable size esp for a weekend stay, liked the quirky feel and seating in the window overlooking the castle. Surprise news when we arrived that we got tickets to the castle included which changed our plans so we could go and look in. Subsidized parking fee also a bonus. Breakfast was great and plentiful, bed very comfy and good shower. Great stuff thanks

Nice view and good breakfast. Free guest tickets for Kufstein Festung. Nice toilets with bidet function. Very stuffed narrow rooms. Very hot air in the room, even though the heating was turned off. No pillow options available for people with neck problems. We found a sock in the room, which belonged to another guest, not a big problem but still we would have expected higher quality for this price.

Small, but nice room. Good breakfast. perfect location Window was to the next building (a very short distance), so there was not enough natural light, and losing some discretion. Ask for a possibility to river side.

Great location. Great staff. Great breakfast. Close to slopes. Rooms were quite small but still doable. A little walk with bags to room

    Beautiful river view
