On the positive side, the hotel provided complimentary bottled water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The beds and linens were clean, comfortable, and provided a good night's sleep. I also enjoyed the hot spring (onsen), which was well maintained, clean, and one of the highlights of the stay. The hotel is clearly showing its age, and the guest rooms would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning and refurbishment. The carpet was visibly dirty and stained, the sofa in the room was dusty and soiled, and the shelf was covered with a thick layer of dust, making it apparent that it had not been cleaned for quite some time. While the room appeared to have received routine cleaning, the accumulation of dust suggested that many areas were overlooked during housekeeping. Overall, the hotel has good amenities and comfortable accommodations, but the cleanliness of the guest room did not meet expectations. With more attention to deep cleaning and maintenance, it would provide a much better guest experience.

Good breakfast

The hotel is very well located, central and near a large series of covered streets, filled with shopping stores and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and was even able to service us in spanish, at the time of our visit. The room was very spacious with a suite vibe. The onsen, located on the roof was spectacular, even under a rainy day. The breakfast offered many options and was tasty. The attached parking was efficient and very convenient. 10/10 I would recommend.

Evrything, clean, comfy, nice.

There are confusing mixed messages about tattoos in the onsen - one sign says nobody with tattoos may enter; another says you can enter as long as you can cover the tattoos up, and then a third sign says you can enter with tattoos between 12-2am only. Just to be on the safe side I covered my tattoos and I only entered during the 12-2am hours; I suspect if you can cover them up you will be fine any time though. But it might be nice to clarify what the rules are. This is common to many small Japanese business hotel rooms but I wish these things would be improved: (1) put a hook or two in the bathroom to hang a hand/face towel! (2) include an extra small towel for the guest to wipe the counter without having to use the same towel they wipe their face with! (3) toilet and bathtub/shower should not be so close together. I'm going to start putting this in all my reviews and the first business hotel that starts addressing these things can use it in their publicity :)

Nice and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and good location with plenty of shops around. Even if it is near of a Pachinko this was very quiet, no noise in the room. The onsen on the roof is nice. Possible to park for a good price next to the hotel. Onsen was very crowded even if on the TV it was rated as no crowd.

Our family all has short hair but there were a lot of long hair on the floor so seem like the floor was not very clean and vacuum well enough.

I booked a triple room and was pleasantly surprised that it was much more spacious than expected. The room was very clean, the water pressure was strong, and the entire hotel had a premium feel. The location is excellent—you can walk to the largest and most vibrant area in the city. Honestly, it’s hard to find anything to complain about. There’s even parking available for only 1,300 yen per day, which is an incredible deal. If I had to be a bit picky, their parking lot tends to fill up quickly, and there’s no convenient space for short-term stopping at the entrance. However, it’s not a major issue since there are plenty of parking options nearby. As long as you’re not arriving at the same time as a large number of other guests, it shouldn’t be a problem.

The room is spacious which can open up my luggage over the corridor and yet still plenty of room to cross by. The bed super comfortable to rest on. I am having a business room with a big work desk. Overall comment towards the Room is 5 star. Hotel close to shopping district / eateries which only few steps walk. For Breakfast, hotel management may need to look into the inconvenient of "breakfast by time group". It kind of unexpected that such a big 13 floors hotel and yet came with a very small breakfast restaurant. I suggest traveler those in rush for next city in the next morning, to advance reserve the breakfast time. Else, it may quite disappointed that being told the breakfast time group is full.

Prime location less than five mins walk to Sakuramachi bus terminal. Nice onsen at the top floor. Room is bigger than average.

When it got busy, elevators got full and couldn’t use them.

If the budget for this hotel sits right for you, look no further. This hotel is really located in a very convenient area. The moment you alight at Kumamoto Station, take the tram and drop at Karashimacho. You will be welcomed by the shopping street, and the hotel is just right at one of the corners. Kumamoto's Sakuramachi area have lots of food stalls that close pretty late, with a big mall where you can just cross the street to visit it. In terms of the hotel, it comes with a Sky Onsen facility. So there is an indoor one, outdoor (not quite, just open air), Sauna and cold bath (Pretty rare). The room is spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that you might not want to leave the hotel to travel around. I have ended up oversleeping and have to change some of my planned schedules. Nothing, this hotel is really good.

The location is great, walkable distance from the shopping district. The parking is just beside the hotel and there is a person manning the place, and was helpful. The rooms were super spacious and clean. The breakfast spread could be better.
