The lounge(10th floor) with a very good view of Kumamoto castle. Traffic noise from the outside can be heard during rush hours.

Water and drinks on the top floor until 12am. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Great view of Kumamoto castle. Huge catalogue of manga. Room was outdated. Fixtures were old. Clothes line was broken. Holes in the walls of the room that have not been repaired.

Right across from Kumamoto Castle (though still under reconstruction) for Spring the beautiful sakura nearby. Nice shotengai near the hotel with a tremendous amount of options. Has a manga library/reading area in the lobby.

The parking area is a bit small comparing to nearby hotels and the designated parking area told us not be able to park overnight, which made us some time to find a different location and costs around 2700 yen just for overnight parking.

Kumamoto Castle from the 10th floor with free drinks ? Nothing?

No laundromat close by and only two machines in the hotel. One was in use and the other someone left their laundry in for over 6 hours (we checked again a few hours later) also the elevator can be dangerous because the doors close so quickly, we seen someone get hit trying to get in and one of our suitcases almost got stuck inside

Comfortable beds, good bathroom. Very quiet residents. Lounge available until midnight. Central AC was too hot and a bit suffocating, you can’t control the temperature. Construction noises around the hotel.

Located directly across from Kumamoto Castle. Close to two different train stops. Will store your luggage for you if you arrive before check-in time. Clean room and facilities.

the location is great. The main shopping and food streets only walking distance away. The room had a Kumamoto castle view. Parking attendant is very polite. front desk was not available early morning around 5am when we are checking out. there was no key dropping box. we waited for a while but no one showed up so we had to leave the key on front desk and called them later to make sure that check-out was proceeded correctly.

You can see a beautiful castle view from the 10th floor.

Lounge on the rooftop with free soft drinks (it was a shame that some rude turist didn't respect the rules: no food and beverages allowed, but they had like a complete meal). The room was super clean and there were also yukata. The bedroom design was a bit old fashioned, but totally fine. Maybe the price of the parking, a bit high.

Centrally located. Has a kids corner at the lobby, great for keeping kids entertained. 10th floor free-access lounge for guests is great for after hour coffee/tea/soft drinks and views of Kumamoto Castle On the older side. Air conditioning is really a problem… not that great ventilation.

Good beds and a great view of the castle from the window. Free soup on the 10th floor and close to the castle and tram stop
