The property is in the right place with walking distance from some cultural centers, wild life sanctuary and Church. We loved the room esp with balcony with shade of trees and small animals on it :) The menu could have more local food - was disappointed to see little or no local flavors in buffets.

Location, clean, friendly & professional staff

We recently completed a wonderful 10-day stay at Abad Green Forest in Thekkady, and I wanted to share my appreciation for the exceptional experience. Everything went smoothly throughout our visit. Ms. Shilpa at the front desk was amazing, assisting us with all our bookings and recommending high-quality, unique activities. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed the local wildlife; the staff did an excellent job ensuring the animals remained at a safe distance while I captured some incredible photos. The restaurant was also excellent and prepared a very special meal for us on Easter. The restaurant staff went out of their way to make each meal special and relaxing. We found the entire staff to be attentive and helpful, meeting our every need. Everyone had a smile and a kind greeting. Additionally, the spa was outstanding—the therapist is incredibly talented, and I highly recommend her services to other guests. We also enjoyed exploring the welcoming local community. We will highly recommend Abad Green Forest to others and thank you for a memorable holiday.

Nice property and good value for our money. The staff was especially friendly and there was a gang of monkeys in the swimming pool. The breakfast and dinner although simple were good enough.

Everything. Rooms were clean. Campus gave a complete natural feel. Facilities were superb. Nothing to dislike. To add one thing, the recreation room tt ball and few chess pieces were unavailable. If you can keep it safe and maintain that, then perfect

During booking the garden view room has been mentioned, but the room offered is not which we assumed through the booking. com. The outside balcony scenery which was shown during booking has not been allocated.

We couldn't have breakfast because we had stomach issues. So the manager went out of the way to get us ginger lemon soda, and another associate helped us package our toast.

It was a quiet oasis in bustling Kumily. Good rooms and restaurant. Staff were excellent particularly reception team. There was nothing we didn’t like but it doesn’t have an alcohol license.

We specifically asked for twin sharing beds - 2 single beds for 2 rooms only and specifically emailed that beforehand when booking but did not get it. I mentioned that there are 2 male friends sharing each of the rooms and would be awkward to have a queen bed but that was not the case and they were disappointed. They were uncomfortable and complained to me about the sleeping disturbances.

Sometimes kids are noisy.

The front desk staff always made us feel welcomed, and the location is perfect for the Periyar National Park shuttle stop

Amazing location and service. Food was good, breakfast had both Indian and western buffet options. I didn’t go into the pool because the weather was a bit cold but it looked lovely.

The property is located in a nice neighborhood but the facilities including the TV, fridge and intercom was not working.

Beautiful tropical setting in Kumily. Comfortable hotel with good food. We loved spotting wildlife on the hotel grounds. There was absolutely nothing to dislike

Exceptional

Great location. Comfortable bed and decent shower. Ample breakfast options. Staff were generally helpful. Wasn't always the right person on the desk to handle queries. Sun loungers were too few and most were in a state of disrepair.
