Overall it was fine and in a good location. There were roaches (i caught 2, one flew on me), the dishes in the cupboard weee unwashed — must have been a prior guest, and the upstairs futons were thin and on a hard ground. Japanese might be used to that? It was a bit uncomfortable to me, the mattress in the bunkbeds was better.

Good value for money, thin walls (can hear occasional muffled conversations in adjacent apartments), quiet and out-of-the-way location that’s close to the action but not in it. Space is advertised as accommodating 4, but was pretty cozy for 2. Would be rough with 3 + gear and super tight with 4. Overall a decent place for a decent price.

Great stay. We were in a quiet area and having a free shuttle bus stop close to the apartment was very convenient. Many restaurants in town were booked out.
