Its decent for 1 night.

They offered a wide selection that varied a little each day. With my busy day, it was a great way to start. The rooms were comfortable and the location is perfect. It's on a quiet street but very close to everything. This meant it was quiet but I could quickly get to the downtown. I had no issues with the facility. This is my 3rd time staying here and I plan to return.

Great location, breakfast, spacious room.

Very spacious, nice quality, great breakfast, so very cheap.

Well run. Had a lobby to sit in which was nice given small rooms

This location was close walking distance (approx 10 - 15 minutes) to many lively areas and sights. However enough distance away to be quiet enough at night to relax. The train, metro and bus was about a three minute walk from the hotel. The room was a generous size for Japan. Must try the little local restaurant 50 metres to the left of the hotel. Does not look like anything and opens after 6.30pm. Signage for the Hotel as there was another with the exact same name on the main road which was closed and boarded up, giving us a minor heart attack that we would not have any place to stay. This was then acknowledged by the reception staff with a smirk. So we would not have been the first to experience this.

Great location close to restaurants and markets.

The location is perfect and the people at the front desk are wonderful. And there’s an excellent laundry and charming sake tasting. A French cafe around the corner and a stunning temple. I wish you could open the windows. I find the sound of air conditioning hard to take.
-
The location puts you between two popular areas for dining and shopping, 5 minute or less walk to either. Train station and bus less than 5 minutes away. The lobby and hallways smelled great!! Staff was friendly , beds were comfortable. Loved the free drinks, appreciated the clean laundry facility. I can’t think of anything. We didn’t participate in breakfast because we didn’t want to pay for it and we don’t need a full breakfast everyday.

Close to public transportation and walking distance to Gion area and other tourist spots in Kyoto. None

We loved the hotel and its location. We do not mind staying here again.

Nice location

It was a great location and the staff was as courteous as can be. It is a great place to feel at home. The room type I requested was not the same that I got. It was the only thing that bummed me out.

We stayed at Koko Hotel in Kyoto during our trip to Japan, and it was easily the highlight of all the places we stayed. The location is perfect. Everything you need is close, and getting around is simple. The breakfast buffet actually delivers. Plenty of options, fresh, and worth it. The 24/7 complimentary drinks were a huge bonus. Soda, tea, juice, coffee. It’s always there when you want it. The shower pressure was strong, which matters more than most hotels realize. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful without being over the top. This was hands down our favorite hotel of the trip. Would stay here again without thinking twice. Nothing, everything was awesome.

Great modern design with a separate bath and toilet. Room size was also great especially for Japan in our particular Queen bed room. In the middle of two nearby convenience stores. Staff were very friendly and working with them for the luggage forwarding service was easy. Near a station and walkable to Yasaka shrine area. Nil

MEALS WERE GOOD ROOMS WERE NOT CLEANED WHEN THE NEW BEDDING WERE PROVIDED. USED CUPS REMAINED ON THE TABLE

Great location, friendly staff The beds were rock hard, and the rooms are incredibly small.

The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and it was very clean. Had a laundry facility that we used and was easy to access. Had a mini fridge. Really liked having the drinks machine available 24 hours and vending machines if you wanted water. Close to a couple of beautiful temples. There was a Family Mart in walkable distance and the trains. Also had umbrellas available for guests. Of course the mandatory pajamas:) The breakfast could have had more variety. Needed to have more fruit and possibly whole fruit. Rooms are very small especially for 3 people. There was a closet which was a bonus but we struggled with 3 medium size suitcases in the room since we needed to have access to them on a daily basis. Needed to have a filtered water machine for large bottles as the drink machine couldn't handle water bottles.

The location was good. Close to rail and we were able to walk to several places. Coffee and juice was available. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. We only ate it once. Staff was very friendly. Bed was too hard. The TV was too close to the bed.
