The view from the window is nothing special. More fruits within the breakfast would be nice. In the room there could be more places to hang your items like jackets or bags.

Just a really fun hotel, super friendly staff with a very unique atmosphere. How hard it was to find, Google Maps had us walking around it!

Location, staff, bar, and rooms were awesome. Neither room had a closet or any shelves or drawers to put our things. The hooks provided were not strong enough to hold our suitcase closets.

We loved being in the midst of contemporary art! The staff was accommodating and always cheerful . We tried most of the breakfast items and found them high quality. The location was quite good and convenient to Gion, the central shopping district and bus and subway lines nearby. I would return any time.

The location is great, close to the train/bus stations, walkable to shopping districts and temples. The only things i wish they could provide are a bigger garbage bin in the bathroom and a drawer or a closet for hanging the clothes. Also there are no windows in our room.

Property is very unique. Each room has a different twist/design. Location is prime to Kyoto shopping and landmarks. Property also gives you pocket chips to claim at the bar for some free signature drinks. None

Breakfast was delicious, but service particularly slow when the cafe was busy!

Rooms were not very functional. Small table to place luggage that also had art on it so I didn’t want to disturb it.

Stayed here with my family of 3 and loved it so much! The staff is so hospitable. Every member is so sweet and my family had several dietary restrictions and they were SO accommodating. The location is great, even for day trips to Osaka and Nara. They were very accommodating of every situation that arised. The rooms are great and it was a new experience we have never had before. One of the staff members, Haru, was especially so SWEET. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience and felt special at the hotel. 100% reccomend staying here and I have zero complaints.

The room was beautiful but due to the art exhibit it was smaller than expected. For my family I mostly take at least 30m room but it felt smaller than was advertised. We have been notified for many rules in the reception regarding the room so I was busy been worry that my children will not touch the art exhibit. I recommend the hotel to prevent young children from staying in such room or add some remark in booking about that limitation.
