I believe I have left an item in the room. I am back in the US and now I am struggling to contact the business to ask if they have found my lost item. A business email address on the website would be helpful.

Came here during our honeymoon trip! We originally planned to stay only 3 nights, but this place exceeded our expectations and we ended up staying an extra night because it was so great! The location is amazing, I'm sure you can see by the maps. Right in front is a bus stop, and around the corner a few blocks up is the train station. Easy. Great location with so many restaurants, bars, and shrines. Easy to get to main attractions from the train station, and also walking distance to Gion. We walked to Gion almost every day! Not a super big hotel, not a lot of rooms, so it's quiet and secure. We had the bigger double room at the end of the hall. It was the biggest room we had in any of our big city stays! Huge bathroom. The room had amazing huge windows with city views down the long road. Staff spoke english and were so kind and helpful with recommendations and directions! Will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Kyoto. So I was concerned about the pillows based off many other reviews; they were like half buckwheat and a small cotton topper. I have neck problems and was worried it would bug me and I'd have to go buy another pillow, but this actually ended up being the most comfortable pillow of my trip and I slept so good, haha! I want to buy a buckwheat pillow now. However, for total transparency because comfort is important, my husband couldn't stand the pillows and was so uncomfortable, it was really frustrating for him, but at the end of the day we were exhausted everyday so we slept fine anyway. Just want to give a heads up.

Location was decent, could catch public transport very easily to get to the nearby places to visit. Bathroom was decently sized, the sound insulation was great. We could sleep well, including the comfort of the bed. While the room wasn't that big, they made use of the space as much as possible to fit everything that you need.

Everything Everything

I did not like how they put clean towels into the same box where they told us to put our dirty towels in.

Great location and view The room is quite small and it is tricky to accommodate two humans and their luggage.

Staff was super nice and location to Gion was great. Not too far of a walk. I loved all the windows in the room! Heat and a/c worked great. Bring an extra card to leave in the slot so air stays on. They also have a dehumidifier (and air freshener i think).. Turned it on for white noise. Hot water kettle in the room. Instance coffee in the lobby with cream and sugar packets and a microwave. And umbrellas free to use. I was in room 703. The frig didn't cool very well and they didn't have another to replace it so be aware. (Yogurts came out runny. Drinks just cool.) The bed was very firm. No closet, only 3 hangers on the wall. Two storage drawers with a safe under the bed. Traffic noise can get loud on the weekends. You can forward your luggage but the service they use didn't include my Tokyo hotel. The staff couldn't help me further, suggested i take my luggage to the 7 -11. (I found a service two blocks away.) The hotel building needs a bit of updating, paint, carpets replaced.

Love the location, cleanliness, and space. Nothing

The hotel is located in the city center, making it very convenient to reach tourist attractions. The staff speak English very well, which makes communication easy. The room is clean, bright, and provides all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel sign is a bit hidden, so it is easy to walk past without noticing it. The room is slightly small and is more suitable for solo travelers or couples. The room design is modern and simple, so it may not be ideal for those who prefer a more local-style accommodation experience.

The location; it was clean No issues

Receptionist was nice but strange feeling without smile or no eye contact or he was upset ?! I know he was doing his job it’s fine… but just wired.
-
Smell at first very strong pint, also there was an extra 400 yen for city taxes and also no parking
-
it’s value for money hotel. accessible by public bus and walking distance to shopping areas and Nishiki market. konbini store, restos and few bars nearby. or walk towards Kawaramachi Shijo for more options of bars, restos and shopping. apart from sleeping and taking shower, i spent most of my time outside.

Very convenient location that is out from the very busy Kyoto central area. Yet it is just a short walk from it. Very clean. Bus stop is right in front of it and connects you to many places-of- interest. Room was a bit tight for two people.

Luggage forwarding service was not available at the hotel front desk, we had to go to convenience store instead. Was not a big deal but could be improved.
-
Wonderful location - could walk around city. Very small rooms.

The pillows were extremely hard, so they gave me a headache. If we had stayed more than one night, I would have tried to request another one. Also our room and generally the hotel itself felt very cold (we visited in January), seems like the isolation could have been better. Airconditioner helped a bit.

The bed and blanket are too small.

Staff is nice, location is great walking distance to gion and kawarmachi. Also the city bus passes right infront of the hotel. Almost everything. First of all, the windows don't open. Ventilation in this facility is a disaster. I got sick, and I was worried my friend would get sick too. Add that to the fact that they don't clean the room no matter how many days you say (we stayed 5 nights!!!) and you have a perfect receipe for falling ill. They do have though an air purifier in the room, but that was not enough to help freshen the air of the room. It was always stuffy, and the reception was like a sauna. Of course the rooms were also quite tiny, you cannot have more than 1 large suit case and 1 medium.

Staff was nice, location was great for walking to and from central Kyoto. Room was relatively small compared to other places we’ve stayed in Japan. Bathtub was not properly sealed allowing water go behind, bathroom was small, toilet lid can barely go up without hitting the sink.
