The size of the room could be bigger.
-
The room was very small for three people
-
In one of the rooms the bed was too soft and so comfortable.
-
Nice size room. Location is quiet, but walk/short ride to the major attractions. Bus stop is right there. Metro station is a short walk. Breakfast was available in the morning (though limited option) still we find it good for a few day stay for a nice early morning start.
-
Simple hotel, not luxurious but cozy. The breakfast does not offer a lot of variety, and there are not many places to sit. Other than that the place has been great: the position is very strategic to visit many of the major attractions. Also, all the members of staff have been extremely polite, kind, and helpful.

I love the quality, cleanliness, amenities for a reasonable price. Quiet location with traditional elements Nothing

I think the room is very big and well arranged. The facilities are very good. I like they split bathroom into toilet, face wash and bath three spaces. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The location is also excellent. This is my first leave a review for a hotel cuz I really like it.

We like the hotel so much that we gonna come back again

Great location nearby historic Gion district. The hotel staff make the difference every time I visit for business & vacation. Staff member Alina is extremely helpful and goes over and beyond to share her genuine hospitality.

Very clean, well designed interior. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are a good size for Japan. They provide a continental breakfast which is rare for hotels in this area. It’s within walking distance of many attractions and public transportation. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in the room with 2 double beds and a tiny „living room” bump out by the large window. For Japan the room was very spacious. Bathroom and shower 10/10. Beds are full size. Pillows are pretty terrible. This seems to be a theme everywhere we stayed in Japan; overstuffed, too thick pillows. Breakfast is a bit underwhelming and the fact that it’s in a tiny lobby with the idea you bring the food back to the room means getting your breakfast is a queue situation but not everyone respects the queue so slightly aggregating. Coffee is OK, not great and if this is your first stop in Japan, figuring out appliances will take some work. Overall, this is a minor gripe; this didn’t take much away from the experience.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff Nothing to report

Great location comfortable bed
-
The laundry machine was almost always busy and you don’t have a way to know if they are available or not other than going to elevator section and use the phone their to call reception for them to check
-
Clean, hospitable and comfortable. Perfectly situated near the Kamo river around the corner. Bring your shoes if you’re a runner, it’s a wonderful run along the riverside
-
Spacious room, very clean and nice atmosphere. Coin laundry and convenience store opposite the road, and close to a bus stop About a 10 min walk from the Kiyamizu Gojo and Gion
-
Convenient location, staff was nice and helpful about our luggage and helping us check in. Breakfast was simple but available for free, amenities available at reception The flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet makes sense but it came loose during the night.

Breakfast was small but perfectly nice pastries, yoghurt, and coffee. The on-site laundromat was very handy. My room was larger than I expected and nicely organized and spotlessly clean. I could get a bus to anywhere in the city right outside. Staff helped me get a taxi to the station and even carried my small bag to the car for me.
