The DINOSAURS!!! They were great for check in and out...and, you were tempted to touch them. It was a fun touch to see them as you came and left the hotel. The room was large enough for two. We had two large suitcases and other luggage which were easy to set up within the sleeping area. The Hotel is close to the Kyoto Station, shopping and a 7-11 :)!!! Next door was a facility that raised koi. They had two containers of koi on display with the option of feeding them. (Sad to say this but anywhere else especially in the US, the koi would have been stolen overnight :( No serious complaints. I wish the area to hang clothes was better. The lip of the bar was too close to the wall, so the clothes laid one on top of the other. The location was on the far end of the Shinkansen trains, and we mainly had to go out of the middle one. The washing machines were great but the drying cycle really did not work well. We ended up hanging everything within the room.

I was quite disappointed to arrive at the hotel after reading so many positive reviews regarding the cleanliness of the hotel, to be greeted with a stain directly underneath the pillow on the sheets & stains / splashes of something on every wall & surface inside the room. We tried cleaning the surfaces ourself with no luck. On a positive note, The staff were very friendly & the dinosaurs were a fun experience.

This place was awesome! It is super cute to walk in to dinosaurs doing the check in and check out. I had a small issue at check in and the staff came out very quickly. Everyone was super helpful. The hotel was very clean. We opted for the breakfast there. It was very good! It had plenty of options for both food and drink. The location is amazing! It was so easy to get anywhere since the station is only a few bocks away. Easy to walk to Kyoto Tower and some of the other popular spots. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Honestly, it was a great stay. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Comfortable rooms, this hotel offers the highest number of amenities in comparison to other properties I’ve stayed in Japan. It is about 2 min from Kyoto station. Location is perfect! And the dinossaurs are very funny. Love it!

Great location. Big rooms. Best part was the ROBOT DINOSAURS!!! Bed was a little stiff. Its a nit pick really I prefer my bed at home over any hotel.

Check-in with the dinosaur robot was something different, and overall went smooth. Also the checkout including the luggage storage, all can be done without support staff. The breakfast was disappointing, compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip (we did 3 hotels) with similar prices/locations/standards.

Nice location next to the Kyoto station and lots of restaurants. Clean and fairly comfortable room. Beds are hard and the room is fairly small. You can hear the trains, even on the 9th floor.

The hotel is very close to Kyoto station, thus you are close to restaurants and shopping malls, and the hotel itself is plenty big. They have a sister hotel with the same name just 1 subway stop away, we went to the wrong one, and it's not easy to figure out where it located depend on the discription on booking. Com. Just imagine you are dragging 2 big suitcases and have to go up and down the stairs, it was a struggle to get there

The first floor had self serve luggage lockers and the rooms included foot massagers. The property wasn’t the closest walk from the station and the carpet in my room was wet from a leak in the air conditioning unit.

Efficient, easy checkin and checkout. Place to store l luggage before and after. Spacious, cleanliness was decent. . Great bathroom space and toiletries. Not much place to hang clothes and interesting layout with bathroom upfront
