Fantastic location. Clean rooms. AC worked great. Nice staff. The washing/drying machine didn’t dry well.

Good location. The room I booked did not have a view. It was dark and no way to get some light in because the window was frosted. Even though it was facing another building, it would have been better if there was some natural light coming in. The carpet was old and looked abused. It needed replacement.

Good location right next to Nishiki, a 10 minute walk from Gion. Comfortable rooms, although on the smaller side. The staff were nice but they could speak more English, especially since it's located in a really touristic area.

If you forget to place your preference for room cleaning, their default is not to clean your room. Most other places, the default is to clean. The washer/dryer is in a minuscule room that is poorly ventilated. The hallways are very dark, which makes it hard to tell if it's clean.

Excellent location to explore Kyoto! Central to great restaurants/shopping/sights only 2 subway stops from Kyoto station Maybe could have used more amenities, but at that point it would have cost significantly more.
