I do like the ninja theme and hidden like location. Nice little garden for a view and to meditate and to plan your mission. Being a bit far from public transportation.
-
Fantastic location, friendly staff, easy check-in, plenty of amenities, clean, quiet. Will come again.

The hotel had a great feel to it. Very clean, organized, and streamlined. The art was awesome and they kept the ninja theme alive! Comfortable beds, walking distance to bus stops, convenience stores, and laundromat. Staff was so informative and helpful!

Clean rooms. Too far from subway. I didn't realize that when I was booking but it was a hassle to get there by walking all day. Also they had no iron to press clothes.

Was clean, felt new and the staff was very friendly. The entrance was fun.

The hotel itself is super nice and clean, and is stocked with lots of extra supplies in case you forgot any (hair brushes, shampoo and conditioner, etc). If you're looking to stay in a quieter area that's still well-connected to the rest of the city (close to a bus station + a subway station), this is a great option for the price! The only thing we wish we'd had was access to laundry services within the hotel!

Okay stay for a night. Nothing special and nothing much to complain. We couldn't send our luggages with ta-q-bin after checkout. We were expecting this would be possible since it was in other hotels.
-
there are some logistical things to keep in mind. The hotel is about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the nearest transportation, which can feel a bit tucked away and isn't the easiest to get to with bags. Additionally, the staff speaks very limited English, which led to some significant issues when we tried to arrange our luggage forwarding and had to send it out in the 7/11. Would have been helpful is they told us this in advance.

It was in a very nice a quiet area if you are looking for a place to just relax and go slow on your days in the Kyoto area. It was a bit far from most areas and is quite a bit of walking distance from stations and bus stops, but again if you go slow on your days here it is nice but to those who are rushing, stay in Nishiki area.

Nothing good, an ordinary hotel. You won't find any staff in the morning. You won't find water in the lobby to make coffee in the morning. It's not comfortable, far from everything. I read other reviews and thought it was good. For that price, you could have stayed at a different hotel with comfort. It was just the name that lured me in, but I was completely disappointed.

It was clean and slick and looked very new. Nothing it was a great hotel

Close to tourist attractions as well Has private parking in front of hotel which is a plus

The building is new, the room was spacious. The hotel is located in a mostly residential area. The closest station is a good 15min walk away. There’s a convenience store and a few restaurants by the station. However, the area around the hotel was very quiet and there were no stores nearby.

Cleaning should be done Daily; Breakfast could be a great add value and Covid is a long time ago story...
-
There was mold near the ventilation system in my apartment, which likely means it’s coming from the vents and could be affecting the entire hotel. This is quite concerning, especially for people with allergies.

Interesting Ninja theme. Dining room at rear on ground floor looking out to an accessible garden, was good for eating-in and our travel group meetings. Staff were helpful.

The king room doesn't really have daylight, it stays quite dark even during daytime. Really disturbing was the (for Japan unusual) noisy air-conditioning which cannot be controlled from the hotel guest. We asked the staff to switch it off and they did. But in the middle of the night it went on again and we both woke up due to the noise. The same happened on the second night but no staff was available to switch it off again.
